“This store has replaced my favorite hardware store, I used to go to wards hardware on buck lake. Since it was sold they replaced most of their hard workiing employees, which was half the of the reasons I went there for 30 years. They no longer cater to old time customers but increased their prices and carry half the merchandise they use to carry. Therefore I have discovered the True Value hardware What was I thinking that I never drove a mile farther down the road to find the hometown downhome friendly store that answers any stupid question I might ask to try and fill my request for that whatyamajiggie I am trying to find. Love this place.Pete and Faith Miller.”

“Always very friendly and helpful. A great local option for most hardware, basic household supplies, and repairs. They carry most of the small stuff that the big box stores carry, just not large appliances or much lumber... That's too be expected for it's size. Very compact and easy to find everything quickly. Great for quick in and out trips.”

“Our furnace went out last night. Called this morning and was put on a wait list. 4 degrees outside so things were getting cold quickly. Really didn’t think they would be able to service the furnace today. But… they showed up and got us up and running in no time. They were awesome! Highly recommend!”

“We've been shopping here since we moved to Dexter 10 years ago. My husband likes to get tools and hardware here and support a local business. I stopped in today for a terracotta pot and was impressed with the potting supplies. They have more stock than the big box stores in terms of different types of potting mixes and amendments. Their pots are mostly terracotta or plastic, and that should suit almost everyone. Their customer service is really what keeps us coming back. Every time we go in there we are warmly greeted and shown the items we are looking for.”

I’d been using my cordless bauer vacuum on the daily for weeks before i realized it was supposed to come with a crevice tool, which mine was missing. Kyle helped me out and set one aside for me so thank you so much! Love all my Bauer tools (especially the shopvac) and the customer service is fantastic.”

“Most organized Lowe's I've visited in Michigan. This was my first time at this store. I saw multiple employees actually helping people, which isn't always the case when I go to Lowes. Then when I needed help. They came over when they were done helping someone else. Cashier was really nice and helpful. This was on a Sunday.”
“I showed up thinking they would point me in the right direction for the stripped out screw head for my oscillator. Instead they ended removing the stripped screw for me and helped me find a replacement. Even more grateful considering the employee cut himself in the process trying to get the old screw out.I felt the least I could do is right my first review ever and hope that his knuckles are feeling better. They definitely went way beyond what I was looking for. I can't recommend Ace hardware in Pinckney enough”
