“This review is long overdue. Life gets busy. Anyway a test of a true mechanic shop is when they stand behind their work. Its one thing when things go right, but when they don't that is when you find out who will stand by their word. Well that happen with my truck. My truck has been going there for a few years now as I'm quite meticulous about it as its 20 years old. Well on one occasion the truck threw a check engine light after a pretty major repair. So I brought back to Johnson Auto. They dived back into it and replaced the "knock" sensors. I picked up and went up the road not 10 miles and the same check engine light came on. Took it in again and they did some more work on it along with replacing the sensors one more time. Keep in mind none of this was charged to me. Sure enough a 3rd time and the check engine light came on again. I was about to pull my hair out. However Dennis assured me they will get to the bottom of it. Well they did as it was a a wire from those sensors rubbing on the transmission causing a fault. They rewired the harness and the check engine light has never come back. I have been to quite a few garages in town where one wouldn't even warranty a tire I just bought less than a year ago. That is nothing compared to the time spent on my truck trying to figure this out. So I'm indebted to Johnson Auto for fixing the truck the first time, then standing behind the work after three return trips.Services: Electrical repair”

“I hit a pothole. Ok, who hasn't?? My tire looked flat alright. I got my car insurance co. to put my donut on. Then I drove over to Duggan's which was about half a mile up Main St. from where I was. Once there, the mechanic showed me my tire...perfect condition...but my rim however, needed to be replaced. They called around and got a salvage co. to order a rim from another co. When I picked it up...I went straight to Duggan's to bring my new used rim in order to get the tire around it. My appointment to mount the ensemble onto my car is set for Monday afternoon. There will be no charge for this and they put air on my tires too. I am very pleased with Duggan's so far. It's understandable that they couldn't do the work when I took the rim in as it was Friday around 3:30.Duggan's entry is level with the pavement on their lot. I did not see handicap parking. I have a handicap hangar but parking is close so I just pulled in. I do not believe they sell parts like an auto parts store, strictly auto repair. They also did not charge me for preparing a list of things wrong with my car per my request. The "boss" explained what was the most important thing to repair immediately.Basically...they took care of me. The price of things was sticker shop high but everything is now and I know that their prices are lower in some things that need to be done.Bottom line...they are good people...I do recommend them!”

They know exactly what they’re doing, will suggest routine maintenance and also if they find something they show actual pictures of it. Manager was above and beyond helpful explaining everything. Price may be a little higher than some anticipate but, like they say if you want experienced and thorough expert service and have things done the right way it’s well worth it!
