“I recently purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk for my son. The vehicle was in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, and drove exceptionally well.
Shortly after we picked it up, my son drove just a few miles to get new tires and have the SUV detailed. On the way, the check engine light came on. After scanning the code, we found it was related to the oil pressure sensor.
We contacted the dealership, and they immediately reached out to Central Automotive and directed us to head straight there. What really impressed me was how Central Automotive handled the situation—despite it not being their responsibility and having a completely full lot of vehicles to service, they didn’t hesitate to help.
I received a phone call shortly after 9:00 AM the next morning letting me know they had diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, and that the vehicle would be ready for pickup that afternoon. Due to their heavy workload, the owner himself stepped in and completed the repair to ensure the work was finished on time.
This level of service is rare. Central Automotive went above and beyond, and their professionalism, urgency, and willingness to help left a lasting impression. I know why they are so busy!

“I am more than happy to write a good review for Caliber Collison in Stillwater, MN. My father in his spare time worked on vehicles. In addition to regular repairs and maintenance, I watched him pull out engines, overhaul them, and put them back in. I watched him tow totaled cars home, straighten their frames, put new parts on them, puddy and sand them, and finally prime and paint them. Our family never needed to rely on repair shops or body shops until his passing. He left me with the knowledge that the only way to do something was the best way possible. After a car collided with my car, I took my beloved Toyota to Caliber Collison in Stillwater, MN. I had not been there before. After having a father like I had, I never feel comfortable with the work of someone else until they can prove their worthiness. After the repair work was completed, and after I examined the car, I felt that a fog lamp, that was working but was scratched, should have been replaced. In addition, two minor details needed fixing. To correct the problems, would mean a significant amount of work and expense on their part. The General Manager, Stacey Nelson, agreed to my requests, and in less than two days, I had my car back. I know they had to use overnight delivery to get the parts, and work diligently to have the work done so quickly. When I arrived to pick up my car, Stacey had parked it in the same spot where I had left it. The car was shiny and clean, the work done was top notch. In addition, they used new screws, and a new rubber gasket that I never requested. I would give them ten stars if I could, because they went above and beyond. Thank you, Stacey for your exceptional customer service.
