I had a flat tire and a in Mankato. Had my tire changed at discount tire. DNK tires was cheaper. The owner and the staff are super friendly courteous nice professional highly recommend this place highly”

“So far so good, only time will tell. Had them patch and plug two back tires on my 2000 Buick century, seems to be holding up.. if their still holding air when I'm ready shortly to buy new tires, I'm buying straight from them providing the car last that long. Might be upgrading to a newer vehicle, but even then I'll still buy tires from them for the newer one pending which comes first.”

“My ball joint broke on the DS as I was leaving Dollar General. On a Sunday evening to boot. Pulled over as far as I could, my wheel well was riding on my tire and the joint was peeling metal off the inside rim. I informed DG of my plight and they were real understanding and got the ok to have it towed Monday.So on to the review of Henkes Repair. Dale was amazing, good phone manners, pleasant to do business with. Went above and beyond to find me a tow truck (Henkes doesn't have a tow truck) paid the tow bill and tacked it to my repair bill. And much to my surprise Dale did not charge any extra money to that tow bill. And the tow company took extra time and care in towing my vehicle so as not to damage my front tire. Avoided cost of a new tire. Dale said he'd be able to look at my vehicle on Wednesday, I then asked for call back with an estimate when he completed the assessment. He did just that . And the estimate was super reasonable. I gave him the go ahead for the repair and told him I'd be able to pick it up that Friday. Friday came picked up my vehicle in and out within minutes and been driving it since without issue. I did take the time to notice that his shop was neat, orderly, and clean. His property outside his shop was very nice and beautiful. I would definitely give him a call should the need arise in the future for vehicle repair. Dale thank you for going above and beyond to help me.”

“Full service! If ever a gas station counted as a cultural treasure, this is it. Merv, aged 92 at writing, has pumped gas here since 1962, if memory serves. (Forgive me, but I seem to have misplaced my notes from my recent visit.) His sons own the place now, but he still comes out to pump gas for his customers, although he reportedly doesn't climb up onto 18-wheelers (which he can, indeed, accomodate nicely) to clean customers' windshields anymore. Very well worth a visit -- utterly unforgettable. Offers scissor sharpening services as well. I look forward to visiting again.”

“I tried to get in at fairmont ford for a service I needed on my vehicle, they told me I’d have to wait until they had an opening which was over 2 weeks out because the service was going to take over 4 hours. I called here and the owner happily accepted! He stayed late, on a Friday, to get this done and even completed it in an hour! As a woman in her 20s, I’ve had VERY few good experiences with mechanics. Here I felt extremely respected and welcomed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

“Came in for subframe bushings inspection they said they were good but the inner and outer tie rods were bad along with a stabilizer bar which they showed me, and we will be back to pay them for the repairs before they get started. They even don't mind if you bring in the parts, just make sure you know for certain that the parts you bring in are preferably direct fit ones. You can find great price ones through Amazon”
