“I have a 2003 Honda Accord and out of the blue the engine began to misfire. Jeff came on time and diagnosed and solved the problem in a matter of minutes. He explained his diagnostic procedure in a clear and concise manner. I was amazed because most auto repair technicians don't want you anywhere near them. Because the problem was a simple one he did not want to charge me for his service. I offered to at lease pay his standard diagnostic fee; he did not even want that. “3 other places that I checked to try to fix my headliner could not for different reasons (one place said it would require removing my roof, one said it would be too difficult and one person just never called me back). When I took it to Larry at Davison, he took a look, and was surprised that no one could fix it. He said that it was probably because it was such a small space in my car. But he took some measurements, asked if the color material he picked was fine, told me he would have the material in soon, and would call soon to schedule an appt. The next week, we set an appt, and he had it done in 2.5 hrs. It was a VERY good job. His attitude and work was very professional. If I ever need his services again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back.”

“Brought my vehicle in for a brake repair...my ignition cylinder was beginning to go out but was still functioning and was not asking them at this time to repair this. Unfortunately the mechanic used a tool to turn my key when he couldn't get it to work and ruined my key and ignition cylinder to the point where I could not insert the key or get it started. Performance replaced my key and ignition cylinder free of charge and made things right and appeared to have felt bad about their mistake, and did not try to con me into paying for it or say it was my fault due to my ignition cylinder already not being in perfect condition. Very appreciative that they owned up for their mechanics mistake and helped me out.”

“A friend of my son's came to Memphis, from Louisiana, to visit. On the way up here, someone side wiped her car, did a lot of damage to the exterior, and bent the axles, and popped a tire, among other things. She was stuck on the side of the interstate, putting the donut on the car, and crying - mid-panic attack, because shes in a strange place, and terrified of the semis blowing past her. So, she called another Gateway first, and told them everything that happened, but they couldn't help her, cause they only work on diesels at that location. So, they sent her to the Wilson Rd location, and she went in and asked for whoever it was they told her to ask for. They fixed everything for her, and when she went to pay, they had already taken care of it for her!!! I am floored at the kindness they showed her!! People simply don't do stuff like that anymore, and that's so sad!! Always lead with kindness, because you never know what someone may be going through. Faith in humanity restored!!! Thank you guys for taking care of my girl!! Keep up the great work!! Just, amazing... ??”

We dropped my car off at 8:40 I did not get my car back until 11:40. Slow service so be sure you have nothing to do.”
“The owner!!! I'd keep coming back (and will) just because he looked out for me, him and his wife! She was the only person that helped me find a tow truck when I was miles away stuck on the expressway. Once I got there, the owner gave me a ride to get what I need to get fixed up. No one else within 20 miles even tried to help because of the utility vehicle I was in.It ain't fun being stuck on the side of the road with cars flying by doing 200 in a 55. Sheeesh!!”
