“Westside is fantastic. Doctors and staff personally care about the animals and their owners. Drs. Patton, Brady, and Poindexter are all very skilled and caring. They have helped us with the three cats we have had over the years, plus a foster kitten. That included the final days of our two very old ones, helping us make the painful decision to have them put to sleep. In both cases, once with Dr. Patton, the other time with Dr. Brady, they were kind and understanding, and very gentle with our old friends. Our third cat, Sarge, is a big fellow, who was accidentally hit in the hind leg by a power wheelchair. He limped so badly we feared his leg was broken. But Dr. Poindexter carefully and gently examined him, diagnosed that it was a severe sprain, provided the appropriate treatment, and said to bring him back for evaluation on his progress. Circumstances precluded our ability to do that, but he had healed so well we were no longer worried, and he is doing very well. Dr. Poindexter has been very good with our pet, as have Drs. Patton and Brady in the past with our other little companions. The building, exterior and interior, is beautiful. The walls are decorated with cheerful quotes about pets, from Churchill and Mark Twain, to Winnie the Pooh. Everything is very clean, equipment is modern and shiny, and the place does not smell, as do some veterinary clinics. Colby, the resident orange and white male cat, is one mellow and friendly fellow, lounging up on the counter, just a gentle and care free guy. I enjoy writing, but no one asked for this review. They certainly earned it. Very highly recommended.”

“Experience was phenomonal!! Lulu gets very nervous and anxious and both the tech and vet got on the floor to her level to make her feel more comfortable! They didnt rush her and took there time until she became more relaxed and that's impressive! Thank you so much!!”

“We feel welcome in our new neighborhood. My little guy Beetlejuice,is a pound puppy and has a loving mum and his 4 ever home. He makes friends wherever he goes, and besides being affectionate, he is a quick learner, already a CGC recipient. Dr Beddoe at Southwest, has been a blessing as my little guy is finally on the correct diet, a Rx food, designed for the challenge of pancreatic disorder. It won't go away but he enjoys this food, and he is more comfortable. The only negative is one can of the Rx food is 4.50 so it adds up quickly. That is not Dr. Beddoe who sets the price but the Science Diet, and it is Rx only dog food. They are compassionate animal lovers;)”

“Very thorough. They caught some things our other vet missed, not terribly problematic, but definitely good to be aware of the health of my sweet kitten.I would absolutely recommend them.”

“Visited this museum a little while back, and it did not disappoint! There were so many instruments that were on display that were used before modern technology became available, as well as, pictures, books and videos. If you haven't been here, please go! You will be glad that you did.”

“They saw my dog when no one else would. Even with him having all his shots. Tho they sent his paw prints to the wrong address, and I haven't seen them since. ? other than that, they did great.”

“We have been taking our dog to Quail Valley for 3 years, and we have been satisfied with them for vet services & have boarded our dog there at least half a dozen times. However, we picked him up this morning, and we were unpleasantly surprised. Our dog takes Phycox for his joints, which we always give to the person at the front desk when we drop him off. In the past, we have NEVER been charged for giving the Phycox to our dog. All that has to be done is take it out of the zip lock bag & put it on top of his food. Today, we were charged $7.25 for each time they gave him the Phycox, which is like giving your dog a treat. That's $29 for giving him a treat for four days. That is close to the cost of a full jar of Phycox, which has 120 "small bites." ..............11/30/2023 I received a call from Quail Valley this morning. Apparently, the person who checked us out is new & didn't understand that we shouldn't have been charged for giving the Phycox to our dog. They apologized & issued a credit. I'm changing our star rating to a 5.”

“I really appreciated everything!! The front desk was welcoming. The tech upon entering the room with me and my dog could see my dog was nervous and she stood back and asked the questions. Then when the doctor and tech returned they offered a rug so my dog would have more grip on the table. They really helped my dog relax and he never saw the needles! I, also, appreciated being able to bring in a stool sample so that he would not have to be poked. Thank you for everything!”

“Dr. Esterly has 45 years of knowledge and beats every other vet I’ve previously met. He can tell you what your pet needs, why it needs it and how it will progress in either simple or complex terms based on your understanding. Took our puppy to get spade and he told us how the previous puppy shots had been timed wrong and fixed that too. Also, he has the most reasonable prices in the area with no unnecessary additional charges to get into your wallet. He’s now are new vet! Thanks Doc!”
