“Modern Auto did a great job! We have an issue with GM. The 6.2l engine failure issue should not be costing customers more money. Now that our 6.2l engine was confirmed to be okay for now, we are faced with higher oil change costs for the remainder of our vehicle life. This is unacceptable that a design/manufacturing failure from GM is being passed onto customers with special oil and higher costs for maintenance. Typical GM! Passing costs onto customers when they make mistakes.”

They diagnosed the problems, gave me their opinion and cost for each repair. I had them do all the repairs and the car runs great. “I bought a Jeep there and just had it serviced for the first time, an oil change. It felt like an assembly line with real men running the place, strong looking mechanics, service writer with his nose to the grinder, and a charming valet. Made appointment on-line, drove up to the Service Area, a Valet takes your keys and guides you to the front door, right inside to a Service Writer, then you wait in a large waiting room with a TV, coffee, and a restroom. The mechanics were knowledgeable and explained everything that was completed. It was almost entertaining to listen to the men working and talking with each other. Trust worthy Business overall and all the employees seemed happy to work there, talking to customers that they knew for years.”

“I know that there are employee shortages everywhere and Walmart is no exception. I was aggravated that my car has taken 3 hours to get oil change/tires, and it was due to a paperwork technicality so I’m not putting blame on the Walmart employees as they aren’t the ones making up some of these ridiculous’protocols’.
But sitting here, I have seen most of the people back here in auto service busting tail to get cars and ultimately customers taken care of. No one is standing around, they have all been very nice AND shout out to Wilson for taking a minute out of his busy situation to get me something from my car-and he didn’t have to do that. Tristan was super amazing multitasking to get customers in and out as fast as he possibly could, even prioritizing quicker customers to get them out the door-there was a long line of about 10 people staring at him & he didn’t skip a beat once! Great job Walmart Auto Service!!! Awesome job Wilson and Tristan!!!!!”
