“I had to say 'goodbye' to my Yorkie and was told by my niece that she went here to say goodbye to her dog a few months back. She said it was a good experience. I decided to take my lil buddy there... ALL of the ladies were VERY professional, super sensitive, graceful, and just so sweet! The experience was very relaxed. We (niece took us) went out in their courtyard and I held my lil buddy, bundled in his blanket, in my arms while I was told what to expect. It was a very easy transition for him, and I can't thank them enough for THAT! Great place with people that truly care, not only for their patient, but also for their 'parent'... IF I could give them 10 stars, I would without hesitation! Thank you sooooo much ladies!

“Needed confirmation that dog was pregnant. Was disappointed that the gal who made appointment didn't give information between ultrasound and xray. So we had the ultrasound and second appointment now for the x-rated determine the number of puppies we could have waited 5 days and only needed one service and not two appointments with two services. The vet was great answered all my questions and gave us additional information we needed and is the reason for a High review. Otherwise I would have only given three stars.”
“I have taken both my dogs to Dr. Patty for the last 4 years. I could not ask for a better veterinarian! She listens to concerns and takes all of them very seriously, even if you’re an overthinker like myself. She and her staff are also so great at educating pet parents like me, to ensure that we can give them the best/healthiest life possible. From infections to thyroid disease, she’s quickly and carefully brought my dogs back to their full potential several times. I seriously cannot thank them enough!”

Long story short, this wasn't my dog's veterinarian (until tonight, but now they are!), and they all cared more about my dog's health than my current veterinarian. “Looking for a great Veterinarian Hospital for your doggie or kitty cat⁉️ This is the place‼️ The Dr, is very knowledgeable, approachable and passionate about his furry clients. he puts his clients first. The vet techs are out of this world, quite professional, kind and hardworking. They will treat your pet as their own ‼️ Their prices are very very reasonable. Work ethic is flawless*.
*be aware of the front receptionist. Tall, blonde woman. If could give her starts, it will be a 0, if you aren’t her fav, she will toss you aside and give preference to her “own” clients. Own in quotations because she acts and believes like she’s the owner… and will act like everything is everyone else’s fault, but hers, if anything goes wrong. Flirts with clients, fedex delivery, older folk, etc. She says she’s there for you, but she just looking for the next recognition setting available, whether from the clients or the coworkers, and well she usually throws them under the bus. Tells clients what they want to hear blaming coworkers and tells coworkers what they want to hear, while blaming the clients. I’ve seen it in person. That way she looks good in both’s sides eyes. Be prepared to be constantly approached about her photography business, her pictures, her frames… etc. odd since this is a veterinary but she makes up her own rules. Undermines the Dr. instructions in front of her favorite clients… The true definition of two faced.
If you can see past the front desk, or are if you are already on her good side… best hospital EVER!”
“My husband and I moved to Billings 7 years ago from Shelby and one of the first things we did was find a vet. We were spoiled having a small town vet and that’s what it feels like having Dr. Berst. We took our cat in to be euthanized this morning and he was so good at explaining everything and making it more comfortable for us. He is so compassionate and you can tell he loves animals. I’m so thankful we made the right choice in choosing him!”

“Vet to go helped me during a tragic time, even though my pet was an brand new transfer from another practice. They were kind, thorough and very professional. Unfortunately, I ended up losing my pet. The Dr actually came to my home and made a painful process slightly easier. They treated us with care and concern. I highly recommend!”

Appreciate their estimates showing worst case scenario for dental cleanings so no surprises with the bill. And even more recently, their team has called us outside of normal office hours to make sure we got timely information about lab results and treatment plans.”
“Such a great place! We recently boarded our anxious dog for two weeks and he was so happy! We got regular updates and he got lots of attention and play time. I love that we could bring his own bed and toys. Our dog was happy and healthy when we picked him up. And the staff followed up a few days later to make sure he was doing ok. Highly recommend them as a vet and a place to board your pet.”
“This place is incredible. I came here originally to establish care for my furry best friend and get a rabies vaccine. The entire staff was incredibly kind, and the doctor didn't try to sell me on a bunch of additional treatments. I left paying an incredibly small amount for a rabies vaccine and a full exam. Fast forward a year and a my doggie had a dental emergency. I knew I didn't want to go anywhere else, so I waited for the morning and they got me in same day. I saw a different doctor who was equally amazing. We knew we needed to get his tooth out asap (very infected and swollen) so he was able to rearrange the schedule and get him in first thing the next morning. We ended up doing a full cleaning while he was out, and I told him to do x rays and other services to his discretion. He ended up not needing to, and was able to keep my bill to a minimum. I was SHOCKED that with all the services we received I was able to keep the bill under $1,000. (Eval, difficult extraction, anesthesia, cleaning, rabies booster, additional meds during procedure, etc.) It's a great feeling to know that your pet is in the hands of someone who is truly just trying to do what is best for them and not to inflate the bill. They dealt with my anxiety with ease and even my dog didn't seem to be on edge. 100% recommend taking your pet to this place.”

“Wonderful service and people! My cat broke his femur a couple of years ago. They were incredibly compassionate and did an excellent job of fixing his leg! The staff has always been informative, patient, and good-humored with any concern or problems my cat has had over the years. They always do their best to save you money and are very upfront about costs. My cat is healthy, thriving, and loves everyone at the vet because of the spectacular service they have given us. I definitely recommend them!”

“Two recent experiences -- one an emergency when dog ate halloween candy that included some chocolate; the other for infection in both ears of a Newfie (after only three days of treatment she was almost completely recovered). Very detailed and excellent instructions to take home with me.”

“I'm writing this review surprisingly late, but deserved. In the middle of the polar vortex of 2014 I was traveling across the country with my rabbit, and she was going through a bit of stasis. I stopped in a few places along the way, but by the time I got to Billings, she was a little dehydrated, and needed a lactated ringer and some bloodwork. Dr. Kuehn was a real pro, empathetic, and didn't break the bank. I'm so glad I found this clinic that could handle small mammal exotics in the middle of Montana.”
