“Went in with a loud sound coming from our front wheel. He instantly knew what it was. Brake pad needed to be replaced, it was metal on metal. Was able to get us in between other jobs. He said it would be about an hour. We walked to a small bakery and grabbed a coffee. When we got back he was putting on the last lug nuts. He showed us the parts he took off, of wow. Reasonable rate, quick, and friendly service. We found our new garage in town!!”

“Our car broke down on a Sunday just outside the town of Eureka, Montana. Because it was a Sunday, mechanics and auto part shops were all closed. We got a hold of the owner of Montana Auto shop, Matt, who met us at the gas station at his earliest convinience, and had us follow him back to his shop. Matt spent an hour or two figuring out the issue, turns out our water pump was toast and had soaked our serpentine belt, which came right off. We had no power steering, battery charging or coolant. We were very lucky that Matt knew a guy doing inventory in the parts shop and was able to get the part for us that day. Matt came in on his day off, in his Sunday best to help two young Candian strangers on a camping road trip. We had absolutely no hope of leaving the town that day but thanks to Matt, and about 5-6 hours of hard work, he saved the day and we felt comfortable continuing our trip the same day. Thank you Matt for your time on your day off, Your kindess, generosity and for taking care of us. And a huge thanks to your daughter for keeping us company while we waited. :) All the best, Jules”

“Hard to imagine being more impressed with the service I received from Walt and his son. A faulty sensor on my truck left me stranded about 2 hours outside of town deep in the mountains. I got a hold of my wife and parents with my satellite phone and they contacted Walt with the situation. Even though it was already almost the end of the day, he said it'd be no problem and took his flatbed all the way up into the Whitefish range during a storm to get me. How's that for going above and beyond? In a couple quick days, they had the new part ordered from Spokane and plugged back into my truck, good as new. The kicker is that all of this cost about 20% of what I figured it was going to run. Can't recommend Gibbons garage enough, great guys and great service!Service: Electrical repair”
