“I was having trouble reserving a trailer online, so my wife picked up the phone, called them and had one reserved in less than 5 minutes. I showed up at the store 15 minutes before the advertised opening. I did notice the menagerie of seemingly broken down vehicles in the lot, it looks like friends and family bring them there so they aren't fined for having an unlicensed vehicle sitting on the street. Going into the store, it was my mission to find the U-Haul desk, as I had read reviews that some people couldn't "find" the U-Haul desk. It only took a little common sense to find it. My 14 year old son saw the sign almost immediately after we entered the store. I was thinking going in, it's a furniture and appliance sore, anything saying U-Haul would warrant a quick pickup from the eye. It didn't disappoint. For those needing assistance, come in the door, walk around the furniture at the first wall and look to your right. There will be a tin sign that says U-Haul. The desk is right there. For those reviews that stated the lady there was rude, I assure you, there are ex mother-in-laws in this world that are far more rude. As we walked up to the desk, she asked want we needed. I told her we had a trailer reserved, I then asked her if we should wait until 10, when the advertised opening time was. She said, "no, I can do it now." She asked my name, verified my address, offered insurance coverage and took my payment. As each process was completed, she became more friendly. I assure you, this lady is very professional. She called for a guy to come out and help hook us up. I was very pleasantly surprised by the detail shown by this guy named Bob. He did everything perfectly, in my opinion. He hooked up the trailer, safely chains, wiring and made small talk all while we watched. He verified the lights worked on the trailer and bid us farewell. The only loss of 5 stars was due to the parking lot clutter of broken down vehicles. Great customer service and the equipment was in great condition!”
