Neither better or worse than most other military pharmacies. They do have a medication disposal bin, which is convenient.

Wait lines are crazy. The fact that they don’t automatically fill prescriptions once sent over by your provider is even worse. And god forbid you have to speak to some one on the phone. I waited an hour and by the time it was my turn in the queue I got hung up on. Needs better management or better plan to handle volume... read full comment

Prescriptions must be picked up by visiting the BX Pharmacy lobby. The satellite pharmacy fills all prescription refill requests and medications on our formulary prescribed by off-base providers (handwritten, faxed and electronic). Prescriptions called in will be ready for pickup in 3 duty days. Refills not picked up after seven duty days are returned to stock.
New prescriptions from off base providers must be activated before they will be available for pickup. To complete this call us at 402-294-3228, visit the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal (https://my.mhsgenesis.health.mil) - in the To box search for "BX" or use our text activation system by texting "Get in Line" to 833-338-1720 and following the prompts.
