“I am so happy that I found this place not only was my cat spayed, he got his nails trimmed and if he was missing any vaccines/shots he would have been taken care of there. I like that they offer vaccines as well as basic grooming, this definitely saves the trip of going to your vet or somewhere else to have the vaccines done. The facility looked very clean and taken care of from what I saw. I also donated some kitten food that my cat is not eating anymore and I know it will go to a good place where it’s needed, so please bring food that is sealed and not open to donate if you have. The staff was very professional, interactions were clear and just an easy process from the time I dropped off my cat until the time I picked him up I felt he was in good hands.”

“Dr Ferraris is our favorite. She did everything she could to help save our Linus' leg (but it turned out to be cancer, so unfortunately, amputation was the only option). She's sweet and compassionate and really cares about our fur babies. The techs are always good with them as well, even when our 18 year old cat doesn't stop complaining about getting her blood drawn from the second we walk in, and front desk is very quick and efficient.”

I had their well visits to get established and came back for a visit when my havanese Nicky was having an issue two months ago. “Dr Astarbi was my vet for over 10 years. I had four dogs at one time and he took care of all of them. Of the 4 , two were put to sleep comfortably in my house surrounded by those who loved them. He is very professional, always gave me a call back and a lot of advice over the phone. I had one dog with Addisons disease. He took care of Bella until she passed away at a ripe old age of 15, usually adisonian dogs don’t live that long. She didn’t have many episodes but when she did Dr Astarbi helped her get back on track. I miss my girl Bella and my boy Giacomo so much. I moved to Florida and he sent me my dogs records. I miss him and Steve. I cannot find and caring vets here, what a shame. Dr Asarbi is very down to earth ,funny, personable and honest and always gave me good advice. I would get my dogs teeth cleaned every year with dr astarbi. Not one problem at all. I wish I could find someone here on the same caliber but I cannot. Dr Astarbi is highly recommended, you won’t regret having him as your long term vet. I hope you are going well, trinket and pia say hello!”

I originally contacted this practice when one of my dogs was very sick and they were the only practice that was willing to see him. Unfortunately, It was too late for him. “Absolutely love this office! Started bringing both my dogs here in May 2022 after moving back to NJ from college. Dr.Scott is a wonderful man who always goes above and beyond in caring for your pet, as well as provides digestible information to help you make informed decisions about your pets health. This morning, my dog was not acting right and little silver was my first call. They got us in within the hour to see Dr.Izzo, another wonderful vet at this office. He did a very thorough exam of my dog and explained to me every step of the way. It was a wonderful experience and gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in such great hands. The tech, I believe her name was Katie?, also took the time to make sure she entered the ordered tests as cheaply as possible (while they were very busy), which I really appreciated. She was also so wonderful during intake and the exam. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a vet that allows you to be present during an exam, provides you with all the information you need to keep your pet happy and healthy, as well as staffed with individuals who truly care about your pet...they're the best!!!”

“Best Banfield hospital in the NYC area. We used to go to the Manhattan and Brooklyn one but they NEVER answer the phone and will put you on hold for hours then hang up. It's impossible to get through or get updates on anything about the pet. They're also so busy that they've taken months to process a lab test (they actually lost the sample..). We take our pets here now even though it's a 1.5 hour drive and never had issues with lost samples and can get through to the staff to get any updates when needed. It's also not extremely busy all the time like the other Banfield locations so we can take our time with the vets or front desk to get any questions answered.”

“I felt the need to leave a review because in all the years I’ve had working as a vet assistant or in the animal industry alone I have not witnessed such compassion and genuine care. To make a long story short my dog Mirena unfortunately had to be put to sleep and her own vet wouldn’t take her on a short notice even tho she was suffering. I’m terrible with names, but the woman in the photos wearing the purple scrubs made sure that my baby was seen so she wouldn’t suffer, unlike the other places I had called around to. I will be switching over to you guys as my permanent vet for my other babies as well. I just wanted to thank you again for the care and kindness your facility has shown me and my Mirena in her last moments.”

“Always a good experience here… I’ve had two very emotional euthanasias at this office and they couldn’t have been more professional. Was at the office yesterday with my loving but obnoxiously strong dog for a boo boo and Dr Drozd was thorough and to the point. And understood my old pups needs. I’m still lol over “he’s strong for an old fart” bc he is! Less than 24 hours later my strong maniac is showing off his boo boo to me and how much better it is already. It’s got to be tough dealing with animals who are scared and try to defend themselves out of instinct when being restrained for treatment and they do it fabulously. Big thank you from us and Rome”
