Someone must have broken in last night and stolen my monthly business account pages from Ocean First, and my printer wouldn't print copies from my online attempt. Yikes. So I drove over to the branch where I met Amanda Cintron who made my day. There's nothing quite like a calm, knowledgeable person when you're being a lunatic. “As an AOL account holder, I’ve asked my aunt to borrow her Google account, so I could leave a review for the wonderful staff over at Kearny Bank Little Silver. Recently, I encouraged a disabled relative to let go of their old refrigerator, while getting $50 for it from JCP&L. Simple, no? Quite to the contrary. The $50 check, which I dutifully deposited from them without a second thought, BOUNCED! A lot of confusion ensued, until I reached Danielle, who advised me to give them a call, but please keep her posted. She was definitely pleasant enough, and I went on with my week, dreading and avoiding the multiple phone calls I anticipated to clear things up. Four days later, Danielle called me to simply check in, I assumed. Nope. Danielle was armed with directions, advice, and an absurdly long email address that I should contact to resolve my issue, as she had recently heard about the situation on the local radio station and decided to give me a call advising exactly how to proceed. I was amazed. Kearny Bank Long Branch, while definitely courteous, can’t give me the proper guidance when it comes to properly signing up for e-statements, so I was extremely pleased, as well as super impressed, that Danielle would take the time to follow up days later, since the ball was now in my court to figure things out myself. Danielle is a lovely and kind person who truly cares about her customers, a rare concept, unfortunately, nowadays. One issue I do have, with Kearny in general, as opposed to the excellent Little Silver branch, is their double $20 NSF charge. I am still waiting on JCP&L to resolve this $50 bounced check situation, and the fact that it’s cost me $40 instead of $20 (until matters are hopefully resolved) stings just a bit more than enduring the lone $20 fee. Thank you again to Danielle and Pat for your assistance and kindness!”

“Have dealt with many of the larger banks in the past (TD, BOA, WF, etc.) and these guys are so much better. Everyone that works at this (and the Red Bank) location is super helpful and friendly. We keep multiple personal and business accounts here and have been happy with everything. The online banking is great too, lets you set balance alerts, transfer between accounts, and they recently added Zelle for inter-bank transfers as well (no wire fee for Zelle).”

“Banking at Chase in Fair Haven is a great experience. The interior of the building in new, fresh, and bright. It doesn’t feel like you’re walking into an old stuffy bank, it seems new and hi-tech. The bankers and staff are super kind and welcoming. They have greeted me by name ever since the second time I went in. I’ve opened checking accounts, savings accounts, business accounts, business and personal credit cards, and well as day to day banking such as depositing checks and cash. I’ve worked with Michael for my personal banking needs and Chris for business and it’s been a smooth experience every time. they are both incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. They make working with them so comfortable to the point where I feel like I can sit and chat even when my banking needs are accomplished.
