“My daughter and my now son-in-law were married at the Pleasantdale Chateau on 1/19/2024. To sum up our experience in one word-Perfection! From the moment we arrived until our departure 24 hours later every detail was handled with precision and courtesy by the fabulous Pleasantdale Chateau staff. There was not one thing that was overlooked. From the bridal and groom attendants, Michelle and Jen; to the banquet manager, Bryan; to the captains, Iker, Jonathan, Luis and Tori, and to all the staff who greeted our guests and looked after them during the reception, your service was exceptional. We were so very impressed by your professional and friendly manner. As one guest told me this event was “Perfect white glove service. When I got up to dance I returned to my seat to a refolded napkin and a reorganized place setting. When they delivered dinner they knew exactly what meal went where. That staff was the best trained and most professional catering staff I have ever seen. Captains constantly on the floor overseeing and communicating. Really flawless service in my opinion. A truly well oiled machine. “ So many of our guests sang the praises of the food, staff, the setting and the overall atmosphere. Many claimed it was the best wedding they ever attended. “MO’s Banquet Hall is top notch! I would recommend this hall to anyone looking for a place to throw a party. Max is amazing and very helpful made my daughter’s Sweet 16 run smoothly and took the stress off of me and I was able to enjoy the night. The bartenders were amazing no complaints the photographer and videographer captured beautiful pictures and so attentive all night! If you are looking for a place this is it a one stop shop..Max again thank you for your service and your dedication and for making my daughter’s Sweet 16 a night we won’t ever forget!”

“I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place”

“My husband and I had our wedding here in February 2024. It was exactly what we wanted and our family and friends were blown away. The staff were so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. We loved all the food and the cocktail hour was awesome. Our guests are still talking about it. This was the first venue we ever saw and the second we walked in the venue we instantly knew it was the one and we did not look anywhere else. The venue is beautiful. We want to give a special thank you to the outstanding staff especially the bridal attendant and maître d'. “I recently hosted a baby shower/gender reveal at The Women’s Club of Glen Ridge and I’m so happy with our choice of venue. Elizabeth was so accommodating and open to all of my ideas for the event. She was always available and helpful from the day we toured until the day of the event. We were able to set up the day before because the venue was not hosting anything the day before my event. It doesn’t get better than that. When we went to set up is when I met Luis. He is marvelous. He was like 10 people in 1. Whatever we needed he made it happen. And what he didn’t have he found a way to get it. I can’t wait to book here again and work with these wonderful people and their beautiful venue. Luis is truly an angel and made our day perfect.”

“Went there for a weekend lunch for the 1st time. Food was very good. Lumis salad was terrific & our two pasta dishes were tasty and hot. Service was very professional and attentive. As far as value, no discounted menu for lunch which was ok but I would only likely return there for dinner.”

“Macaluso's is such an amazing venue! Before I even talk about the amazing staff let me tell you about their INCREDIBLE food. Whenever I see that I am photographing a wedding at Macaluso's I make sure to not eat any breakfast or snacks so I can fully enjoy their food!As a wedding photographer it is super important for me to work at a venue that has scenic areas for great photos of my couples and Macaluso's does not disappoint in that category at all (see attached photos). In addition, their staff is super friendly and willing to help with anything!I can't recommend this venue enough if you are looking for a great place to host your wedding or event!”

“If you have never been to the Seasons you are missing out! The seasons is one of the top venues in New Jersey and an absolute treat to photograph a wedding at!As a wedding photographer it is super important to work at a venue that has scenic opportunities so that may couples don't have to find an outside park somewhere to do their photos. The Seasons does not disappoint with that! They have beautiful waterfalls, a gorgeous garden area and an amazing indoor staircase! (see attached photos)Finally lets talk about their AMAZING cocktail hour! It's honestly the thing i look forward to the most when working here!I highly recommend this venue for anyone on the fence looking to book it!”

“went to see "Top Gun: Maverick" on Saturday. This was my first time in a modern theater in over 30+ yrs. It was a very pleasant experience. The tilt back seats with the adjustment controls was by far the most comfortable theatre experience I've ever had. I would definitely come back for the right movie. The only negative was having to watch the 4 or 5 clips of upcoming movies beforehand, all of which I thought were crappy. Top Gun was great.14 Jan 24. Went to see "The Beekeeper" but skipped all of the up coming movie clips this time. We had reserve seats and sat in the center of the last row. Seats were very comfortable as last time and I could see it would be very easy to fall asleep if your movie was boring. No complaints, excellent movie experience”

“It is a very special place, it is a dream come true for those who want to celebrate the best moments of their life.The menu is varied and of very good quality depending on what the event requires and what the costumer wants at their private event, making their costumers have a pleasant and happy time.The drinks are varied and of good quality, with very professional bartenders and waiters who are very well trained. They are also very friendly, providing an adequate service, making each person who is at the event feel very special.Those who know my opinion in each place I visit and analyze the service of the places I recommend know that I cannot ignore the reality of quality. I am very critical of respect regarding the service of the costumer and the place, especially the offers. According to the demand in favor of quality, for me a rating is very important because it makes the service grow with more professionalism when it is honest personally. I do recommend the place and I also give it 5 stars for many reasons already expressed above, but the most important for me, which is what I sincerely want to highlight that at Tide they have made me feel at home and like family when I had the opportunity to have the doors opened for me and see the heart that each employee of each position in general puts into their position. “We've eaten here several times since the beginning of November. We are always greeted warmly by the owner, the waitstaff, and the enticing aroma of the food. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed every item we have ordered. I love the spiciness of the marinara sauce. Last night, I just remembered my leftover Rigato I men Penne. Thank goodness, I remembered before I got in the car. It was that goodness, I remembered my dinner for tonight! I experimented, which I rarely did, and shared the huge appetizer of stuffed artichoke with my husband, a healthy and perfectly seasoned choice. I told the owner I wish they had a less filling dessert selection, baking cookies! which most Italian restaurants do not. She said she planned to start cookies and add them to the menu. My husband has tried several of their homemade desserts and never leaves a crumb. We were not surprised to learn Al Dente has many regulars! The portions are large, and the pasta is boiled as long as it should be. We have brought friends there, and they felt the same way. We especially like that are never rushed.
