Had a fantastic brunch with friends! Great food, awesome views, and good service. Limited gluten-free options though, which was surprising for such a nice spot. Still recommend, but be aware if you have dietary restrictions.

People go there for the view, but even better is to go there for the food.
Lokal is an addition to Jersey City’s revitalized dining scene. Keeping to its namesake, the restaurant incorporates fresh and locally sourced ingredients from the Garden State. The food menu ranges from a raw bar and other seafood options, reflective of its waterfront location, to small plates made to be shared tapas-style—including pan seared scallops, homemade hummus, mushrooms al ajillio and rock shrimp—a flat bread section and more. There are various vegetarian and vegan options. The beverage menu boasts an extensive wine and craft cocktail program. Lokal has a large bar area, several private dining spaces and floor to ceiling windows providing panoramic, jaw dropping views of the Manhattan skyline.
