“My daughter and my now son-in-law were married at the Pleasantdale Chateau on 1/19/2024. To sum up our experience in one word-Perfection! From the moment we arrived until our departure 24 hours later every detail was handled with precision and courtesy by the fabulous Pleasantdale Chateau staff. There was not one thing that was overlooked. From the bridal and groom attendants, Michelle and Jen; to the banquet manager, Bryan; to the captains, Iker, Jonathan, Luis and Tori, and to all the staff who greeted our guests and looked after them during the reception, your service was exceptional. We were so very impressed by your professional and friendly manner. As one guest told me this event was “Perfect white glove service. When I got up to dance I returned to my seat to a refolded napkin and a reorganized place setting. When they delivered dinner they knew exactly what meal went where. That staff was the best trained and most professional catering staff I have ever seen. Captains constantly on the floor overseeing and communicating. Really flawless service in my opinion. A truly well oiled machine. “ So many of our guests sang the praises of the food, staff, the setting and the overall atmosphere. Many claimed it was the best wedding they ever attended. “Such a fun experience to do with a friend! The staff was super nice and welcoming, ready to help if needed! The candle making experience is completely hands on and following instructions given on this pamphlet. The variety of scents for your candle was super impressive! I loved how the lavender and eucalyptus smelled. I would definitely recommend this gem to make your own candle rather than all the other places solely because it was only $50 to book online. Most would charge you more. I’m your sign to try this out!”

“Fantastic museum full of great detail, fun facts, and a hands on experience with the subway carts through the years (and some buses).A must visit for tourists and New Yorkers! The staff are super friendly and it’s just $10 entry per person. Waited about 7 mins to buy entry tickets so I recommend buying online. Also caution - there are two flights of stairs going down into the museum. I did not see an elevator so look into that and plan accordingly if that’s a necessity.”

“I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place”

The drinks were hands down the best I've ever had, each one crafted with care and attention to detail. What sets Vine Bar apart is that despite the fantastic music playing in the background, it's not overpowering, allowing for easy conversation and connection. “MO’s Banquet Hall is top notch! I would recommend this hall to anyone looking for a place to throw a party. Max is amazing and very helpful made my daughter’s Sweet 16 run smoothly and took the stress off of me and I was able to enjoy the night. The bartenders were amazing no complaints the photographer and videographer captured beautiful pictures and so attentive all night! If you are looking for a place this is it a one stop shop..Max again thank you for your service and your dedication and for making my daughter’s Sweet 16 a night we won’t ever forget!”

“This restaurant was absolutely incredible. It started when our waiter, Edison, from Ecuador greeted us and we had a very nice conversation with him, about his life, family and time in NYC. We started with Guacamole and chips. It was absolutely yummy. When our daughter arrived, we all ordered Shrimp tacos, which were delicious. Edison introduced me to the owner, Petru, from Moldavia, as I am a Google map contributer. What a very nice man, he came to our table and we talked for about 45 minutes. As a result, we were given free churros, so tasty, free shots(mine non-alcoholic) and my husband and daughter, free Drinks ,called Palomas. This Bar/restaurant is the foremost tequila/mescal place in Brooklyn! The bartender, Uriel was a really sweet man, also. This beautiful place will be one of our places to visit, when we are in Brooklyn!”

“My husband and I had our wedding here in February 2024. It was exactly what we wanted and our family and friends were blown away. The staff were so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. We loved all the food and the cocktail hour was awesome. Our guests are still talking about it. This was the first venue we ever saw and the second we walked in the venue we instantly knew it was the one and we did not look anywhere else. The venue is beautiful. We want to give a special thank you to the outstanding staff especially the bridal attendant and maître d'. “Homemade, authentic food that’s modern. Food was phenomenal, we had the the tofu and mushrooms and the salmon small plates. It was so good, salmon was surprisingly not fishy and the condiments were fabulous. The sake slushies were amazing too! It’s the perfect date spot! Small, insanely clean and very comfortable. I absolutely loved this place and will be back a thousand times!”

“My experience at the restaurant was a bit overwhelming due to the noise and crowded atmosphere, especially on a Friday night with live music. Despite the tight arrangement of tables making it difficult to move around, the food and service were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dish with pasta and plan on returning for it. My friends also loved their salmon dishes and couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. Overall, while the ambiance was not to my liking, the quality of the food and service made up for it.”

“Absolutely perfectly executed. Seriously. I ate here twice this week. Everything we tried was delicious and spot on. The menu is smart and varied. The wine list is good. The service is excellent. And the view! Even if you can’t get a window table ( they book up fast) the windows are floor to ceiling so all tables have natural light and a view. They were kind and unperturbed about accommodating my stupid food allergies. You need to eat here.Dietary restrictions: They are very kind about accommodating gluten free and dairy free”

“Recently enjoyed the ABBA DJ Disco Night with my wife. Great place to enjoy a night out. Two large bars, a large dance floor, and ample bathrooms (never saw a line). The event was well organized, security personnel were efficient and friendly, and personnel at the bars and coat check were great. Street parking was easy to come by.”

“I recently hosted a baby shower/gender reveal at The Women’s Club of Glen Ridge and I’m so happy with our choice of venue. Elizabeth was so accommodating and open to all of my ideas for the event. She was always available and helpful from the day we toured until the day of the event. We were able to set up the day before because the venue was not hosting anything the day before my event. It doesn’t get better than that. When we went to set up is when I met Luis. He is marvelous. He was like 10 people in 1. Whatever we needed he made it happen. And what he didn’t have he found a way to get it. I can’t wait to book here again and work with these wonderful people and their beautiful venue. Luis is truly an angel and made our day perfect.”
