“Bought new tires and had wheel alignment. Was worried about these chain tire stores that always pressure you for an upsell like tire warranties and unnecessary work. Did not have any problems at Mavis as tires come warrantied not like the other chain tire stores. Staff was courteous and place was tidy. Work was done in a little over an hour and has no issues with wheel alignment. Cars running great and I also got my paid credit card with desk too. Keep up the great work Boyz”

“You can drive by this place for years wondering if the place is a shady little shop. That is where everyone is mistaken. Went down the street to a more professional tire shop to get a leak checked. They could not fins the source of why I was looking air after 45 minutes of them trying to find it. A week later I had time to stop by this shop. They found the leak. It was a leaking bead in-between the wheel and tire. They got it corrected and had no more leak in that tire and barely even charged me! I would say if you need any tires, tire repairs, other services they offer try them out. Even if they look busy, or you can barely pull in just let them know what you need and they will get it taken care of! They are very friendly and helping everytime we come to them. Thank you for staying in business for so many years.”

“It was nice getting to meet Harry today. We got a lot done today. He knew right away I needed two new front tires and both front/rear brakes were about done. He then showed me my battery was corroded and the serpentine belt had little cuts in them. I mean initially it was just for an oil change but he diagnosed what truly needed to be done. I drive 600 plus miles a week in a Mazda 3.. have to prioritize my safety. He even ordered the parts that were needed in a good timely fashion. I gotta say there's a nice strong difference in my car. I hope it's continues that way so I can continue utilizing you for more business.”

“Service Dept: This was the BEST service I have received at any dealership since being able to drive. (Honestly since the pandemic, our country has zero customer service skills in any industry anymore) From the moment you pull in with the person who greets you to checkout every single employee made me feel welcome. Every employee made me feel valued. My car is a 2020 Lexus RC 350, but I was still treated like I was a celebrity. I can't thank Ray Catena Lexus of Freehold enough and I drove an hour to go there today! I called 5 dealerships before them to see if they could fit me in for an oil change and tire rotation and they did which is why I also approved my front brakes to be done. Brian Dominick is a professional, courteous non-pushy approach. There service area was fantastic. The entire dealerships was clean and beautiful. “Decided to save money and diagnose my own car.. spent 2 hours on YouTube watching video after video before I gathered up enough courage to get under my truck and replace my 02 sensor and oil pressure switch. Even spent money on a special socket to remove the 02 sensor… I get under the truck and spend two hours trying to get my oil pressure switch off before I damage a surrounding sensor. I came crawling into Matawan Auto with my tail between my legs…. I should have just called them in the first place! I now spent more money on parts and broke my back, only to cause more damage. Turns out the Pressure switch I got on Amazon was dead on arrival! Leo was super quick and ordering me another one and it was actually cheaper than what I paid on Amazon! Save yourself time and money and just rest easy that they will do it right. I tried to be a hero and I ended up being a zero. Ps. I didn’t tell my wife Leo fixed it..Service: Electrical repair”

Though always long lines reduces 1 star.It seems one staff is responsible 3 to 4 stations, which they constantly work on transaction, pumping gas, operating keypads, directing and position cars to their stations... as they are very busy, drivers are usually patiently waiting for the staffs to get to them.I guess for the 5-star reason mentioned previously, all drivers are willing to wait...(?) We arrived around 10:05am on an ordinary Monday, and by the time we left it was 10:39am; and my husband wasn't any unhappy about it because with Costco's gasoline cash back program, his total out-of-pocket was $3.85/gal Verdict: 4 stars”
