“I had researched cars and knew exactly what I wanted and what price I was willing to pay. Found one at the Edison location and took it for a test drive. Francisco was my salesman, and he was very low-key, no pressure. He didn't try to upsell me insurance or a warranty after I asked him not to. I paid cash, so we were in and out—including the test drive and vehicle prep—within two hours. There is damage to the leather on the passenger side seat, and they will fix that at no cost, even replacing the whole seat if necessary. I highly recommend going there knowing what you want and need. I think it made a big difference for me.”

“I have been dealing with John for quite a few years and have bought 5 or 6 cars from him. Each one of those cars have never given me a bit of trouble - I just got tired of them, and one was totaled in an accident lol. The car I had before my current car (Saturn Hybrid, bought from John) was still working fine but I decided I wanted something a bit bigger with a bit more power, so after looking on Preferred’s website nothing really interested me. I messaged John about what I was looking for and he told me he would find it for me, which he did. An absolutely mint Nissan Rogue SL. I’ve had the Rogue now for almost two years and have not had to put a penny into it other than routine oil changes and a new battery.
The moral of this ramble is that if you are looking for a reliable high quality used car, go see John at Preferred Motor Cars. You’ll pay a fair price with none of the undisclosed bs “fees” that other car dealers try to get away with.
Oh, one more thing - I gave the Saturn to my daughter who drove it for another year before she decided to get a bigger car for herself! Also bought from John!”
“Dealt with Mike. Great guy. Very honest and straightforward. Bought a vehicle that had an issue 2 weeks after i got it. (Before u say anything, please remember it is a used car and unforseen situations do arise) mike had me take it to their mechanic and then covered the cost that the warranty didnt cover with no hesitation or complaints! Make a call yo the mechanic, Sandrous in old bridge, and made sure to let them know it was important to get the work done quickly as its my only vehicle. Mike went above and beyond to make it happen and i couldn't be happier! Thanks Mike for all ur hard work and actually caring about ur customers and their families!”
