“It was the perfect fall day on Nassau St. I was walking down the street with my daughter, and caught a glimpse of some watches out of the corner of my eye. To my surprise, H1912 had a full array of beautiful watches. I kind of bounced from case to case, like a kid in a candy store. And there it was - a beautiful Rolex 1500 from 1978. It looked probably better than when it was first made. I tried on a few watches, and I kept debating with myself, "Should I spend this kind of money?" But it was too good to pass up! And James, the salesman, was a consummate gentleman - indulging every question, sharing his knowledge, and hanging in there with me as I struggled to make up my mind. Stores like H1912 are really a treasure! Looking at watches online is a great diversion when you'd rather not think about your next Zoom call. But when you're spending that kind of money, there's nothing better than trying it on....and even having great conversations with people like James. It really transforms the whole buying experience. I didn't just purchase a watch - I had a wonderful experience that I shared with my daughter....one that she'll hopefully remember when she inherits this watch. And I was so excited, I didn't even ask about box and papers - only to discover that it came with a service box from Rolex (after being recently serviced - with the receipt to prove it). If you're in the market for that special timepiece, run...don't walk....to H1912.”

“Stunning place, like wandering around a craft fair.The store is small, maybe a living room and a half large - but I spent over two hours browsing what was available and deciding on what to purchase. The inside is cozy, adorable, and filled to the brim with interesting items on every available surface. It was hard to pull away!I didn't have much money to spend (everything relative), but it felt great to spend here. It's exceedingly clear that your money is going towards supporting small artists & businesses. Often, I've found that places advertised as gift shops come off as mass-market tourist traps, but that is not the vibe here whatsoever. It feels like the owner really cares about what they're doing. I find that lovely.I highly, highly recommend coming here!”

“If you enjoy unique jewelry, make a point to stop in. She is there on Saturday and by appmt. I found the shop on last year's art walk and struck up a conversation with the owner, Beth.This led to converting my unused pearl strand into a beautiful work of art. Beth designed a choker necklace with a detachable center stone so I can get even more use out of it. She took the time to show me all sorts of stones and presented design options.I wore the necklace out of the store and received compliments all day. Really a wonderful experience!”

“I was planning a pick up for the ring from other store however, they don't have it in stock because they did a wrong inventory counts. But they recommend to call this store and checked they have it. First one of sales person said "Yes" few minutes later, she called me back and she couldn't find anywhere. She was very sorry and gave me an info for other store phone numbers if they don't have it, she told me that she'll find out other store and get back to me. Every time, whoever was on duty was extremely patient and helpful, accommodating my changing needs because successive attempts at the right-size watchband was difficult.
