The candle making experience is completely hands on and following instructions given on this pamphlet. The variety of scents for your candle was super impressive! I loved how the lavender and eucalyptus smelled. I would definitely recommend this gem to make your own candle rather than all the other places solely because it was only $50 to book online. Most would charge you more. I’m your sign to try this out!”

“Food was amazing & came out fast. Yenifel offered a wonderful service. We went for brunch so the atmosphere was nice and calm! Plus we had a baby with us and still everything was accommodating, Music not too loud. I was looking forward to the pineapple rice dish but it was not available until 4pm but once 4pm came, Yenifel was ready to take my order . Yenifel we Love youuu! ?”

It has to be seen, I would definitely recommend seeing this building at night, it just looks so amazing, I never went in, it was enough for me to just be looking at it in person”

A local gem that needs to be experienced to be believed…what they do is akin culinary alchemy…fusing ingredients in new and tantalizing ways, such as salmon arancini and a delectable focaccia sammy stuffed with greens, ricotta and these marvelous tiny yet crunchy mushrooms (just naming only two of the amazing concoctions I’ve personally sampled amidst a myriad of other incredible offerings!!)…you’ll “umm” and “ooo” with every bite!! Their chief “Wizardress” Paige brings a level of artistry you don’t often see on a “storefront” level and it’s yet another great NYC institution that needs to be patronized and supported lest our fair Gotham degenerates into a massive “Panera-bucks”!! And, oh, they have ethereal baked goods, other yummies, hard to find cookbooks, events, cooking classes, good vibes, nice folks and MORE!!! Go visit this veritable Garden of Epicurean Delights…you’ll feel renewed as a sentient being!!!”

But the compilation of movie fragments depicting various aspects of life in NYC (moving, making money, relationships, work, entertainment) is a must-see and makes the museum definately worth a visit!”

This was a celebration of my love’s birthday and definitely will be one to remember. Highly recommend sunset reservations and do them in advance as they book quickly.”

“I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place”

“MO’s Banquet Hall is top notch! I would recommend this hall to anyone looking for a place to throw a party. Max is amazing and very helpful made my daughter’s Sweet 16 run smoothly and took the stress off of me and I was able to enjoy the night. The bartenders were amazing no complaints the photographer and videographer captured beautiful pictures and so attentive all night! If you are looking for a place this is it a one stop shop..Max again thank you for your service and your dedication and for making my daughter’s Sweet 16 a night we won’t ever forget!”

“My experience at the restaurant was a bit overwhelming due to the noise and crowded atmosphere, especially on a Friday night with live music. Despite the tight arrangement of tables making it difficult to move around, the food and service were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dish with pasta and plan on returning for it. My friends also loved their salmon dishes and couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. Overall, while the ambiance was not to my liking, the quality of the food and service made up for it.”

“Absolutely perfectly executed. Seriously. I ate here twice this week. Everything we tried was delicious and spot on. The menu is smart and varied. The wine list is good. The service is excellent. And the view! Even if you can’t get a window table ( they book up fast) the windows are floor to ceiling so all tables have natural light and a view. They were kind and unperturbed about accommodating my stupid food allergies. You need to eat here.Dietary restrictions: They are very kind about accommodating gluten free and dairy free”

Whenever I see that I am photographing a wedding at Macaluso's I make sure to not eat any breakfast or snacks so I can fully enjoy their food!As a wedding photographer it is super important for me to work at a venue that has scenic areas for great photos of my couples and Macaluso's does not disappoint in that category at all (see attached photos).
