“Last week I called Andy in a bit of a panic - my wife's coolant system was leaking and not safe or smart to drive - knowing how popular and busy the Wayne location is. While trying to figure out when he could squeeze me in, Andy asked me what year and the mileage. When I responded he said "why are you calling me, take your car to the dealer and get it fixed under warranty." Only a quality person and honest businessman would say that! Been a customer for many years, always recommend ETD and won't take my cars anyplace else.”

“I went in without an appointment to see if they could check one of my tires for leakage as it was slowly losing pressure. Not only did they manage to fit me in their tight schedule, they did it for a much better price than what I got from another repair shop and couldn't fit me in their schedule. They found a nail in my tire and fixed it. I would recommend this shop to anyone with tire issues.”

“Great service and very honest!!!!I bought my car to get an oil change and asked if they could check if I needed a tune-up as the car was getting fairly old, and I had yet to have one. I received a call back a few hours later stating the oil change was complete, and I didn't need a tune-up, as the sparkplugs are rated for 100k miles. Many places may have taken advantage of this situation, but not Bergen Tire. “Today, I was picking up my wife at a New York City hospital and when I got in the van, noticed the "low tire monitor" was lit on the dashboard. Took the van to Ideal and saw Jason - he was with another customer, so Nick handled my concern. He first added air, then took off the tire and noticed a nail or screw in the treads. He quickly got the rolling car lift, took the tire off, repaired the tire, checked the tire pressures in all four tires, and adjusted them, as needed. The whole repair was completed in under ten minutes...perfect timing. FIRST RATE experience...and a BIG thank you to NIck...wish you well with your studies to become a certified automotive technician. Vinnie, Owner, is lucky to have a future mechanic who is kind, intelligent, and professional. Thank you!”

“I called about a rattle in my engine area, and went down for a quick ride along. Unable to diagnose it just from the ride along we went back to the shop they took a quick look and immediately saw the head shield for my catalytic converter was hanging off and making the rattle. Put it up on the lift, secured the heat shield with a hose clamp and $20 I was on my way. I will 100% be coming back here if anything happens to my car.”

“My brakes stopped working completely on the highway. I almost crashed! I needed immediate repair and they were right on it. Only frustration was when I asked them to call a home phone not cell since I was going up into the Catskill Mts with no cellular service. There's no Internet either! I asked them to call to tell me the price before doing any work. I had to call to find out what was going on. Then AGAIN I called 10 minutes before they were closing. They never called me with any information about my car!!!! David said he called the cell. I told him all about not having service up in the mountains and to call the home phone! He said he emailed which I mentioned there was no Internet service too! So he had called the cell!!!!???? He said it went straight to voicemail so why didn't you call the next number that was the home phone then? Hence, with this lack of communication, they performed additional work on my car without consulting me first!!!! I didn't want to spend much fixing everything in a 22 year old car when I'm getting a new car in just 2 months! I just needed to get home from NJ to NY. Otherwise, I found the price reasonable considering the additional work and Gary the owner gave me a break with the labor charge. He was very nice and got my car repaired quickly. Very happy with what could have turned into having to stay in NJ somewhere waiting for my car. This disaster could have been so much worse but I was so relieved that my car was repaired and I was able to get home. Thank you Gary and your team!!!!Service: Brakes”

“Some of the other reviews are fake. They say Duran's messed up their A/C?! Duran's doesn't touch A?C! They never have since I started going her in 2012. Brakes, Used tires, Alignment, some front end work, replace a starter or an alternator. That's it. Somebody complained that they spent hours doing a smoke test for a leak?! totally fake. Duran would never do that. Keep it simple and save some money. Duran's does so much business they don't have time to rip anyone off. They're too busy working hard.”

“They do a great job detailing. However they didn't clean my visor area and I have to clean it myself bc it looks obvious. Plus, I found a small deep scratch on my car's touch screen and my car is leased. They said it was there before and have a video of it but looking at the video I didn't see the scratch and I am OCD so I notice everything and its hard for me to ignore when driving. It hurts my soul seeing a scratch!All I can do is apply blue tape on the screen next time I need it cleaned anywhere and I take it personally someone doesn't take care not to scratch the console or steering wheel or anything ? my car is my baby! Plus when I upgrade I don't want it happening to a newer car but I will talk to them before cleaning and remind them to take care.Maybe they used something to clean the seats and it happened? idk. We live and learn.. But the scratch feels etched into my soul, lol.”
