Very nice park with good facilities to enjoy picnic with family and friends.We all enjoyed our time at the park playing cricket ?, volleyball ? and home cooked food in the park.
Washington Lake Park, covering 330 acres, is the largest municipal park in New Jersey. The Park trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. The Park boasts 3 playground areas, all are ADA compliant and two are handicap accessible. Open to the public are basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volley ball courts, picnic areas and three covered pavilions with grills that are available to rent. Our large open air Amphitheater is also the home of the Summer Movies and Concert Series. Bring your lawn chairs and the family to enjoy a summer of music in our park. The Office of the Mayor and Township Council sponsors the concerts and movies. Regular park hours are 6 am to 10 pm, however, during Dec., Jan. and Feb. the park closes at 8 pm.
