“This place was fantastic! I blew a tire on my travel trailer on the Thruway And I was towed to Mahwah To a tire place that was supposed to have what I needed. When we got there, they didn’t and I called at least a dozen local tire places with zero success. I called this place and the guy was so helpful although he did not have the exact tire I needed. He was able to sell me another one that was very similar. I ended up buying two which meant I needed to drive back to my trailer. Install the one tire bring the trailer back to him to install the second tire. The place stayed open an hour later for a complete stranger and saved my family vacation!!!! Had it not been for them my travel Trailer would have been sitting in the middle of a grocery store parking lot certainly overnight. My food would have spoiled and we never would have been able to get back on the road the same evening. Good people still exist! Luckily I live pretty local and will be using them from here on out!”

“I had a fabulous experience at Mavis. Not only did they fix my car exactly as they said they would, they outsmarted a previous mechanic who could not figure out the problem. When I drove away, there was a bit of a noise, so I drove back, and they fixed something they thought was too tight. They also fixed some other small cosmetic things on the car that I did not even ask for. It was a lovely experience.”

“Chris Edler and the team are exceptional. I brought in my 2023 Tesla Model Y for tires and an alignment. Tesla service had a nine-day wait and a significantly higher price tag, but Edler completed the mounting and alignment the very same day I brought the car in.

He is fully equipped for EVs, including the proper lift pucks to protect the underbody. His shop features a brand-new, state-of-the-art Hunter alignment machine. The precision alignment cleared my wheel alignment error code, immediately restoring all my assistive features, including self-driving.

He typically gets tires same day, charges fairly, and delivers professional work. Having a skilled local mechanic who can properly service a Tesla is invaluable. I cannot recommend Edler and his team enough.”

“I had recently brought my 2022 Nissan Pathfinder into Ramsey of Nissan to have my transmission serviced ,oil change and tire rotation. While I was having my service done the service advisor came to me and stated that my front lower control arms and ball joints needed to be replaced at the price of $1,744 dollars.
I had explained to the service advisor that I found no problem with my vehicle that it drives fine and that I have no problems with any vibrations, wheel alignment issues or any sort of wear on my brand new tires that I had put on 14 months ago. The service advisor expressed concern and said that it really needed to get it done as soon as possible. So I explained to him that I would look into the situation and get back to him because it made no sense knowing how I take care of my vehicle and how I have been driving it.
When I arrived back home I decided to bring it to South Street tire and Auto in Warwick New York because I heard so much good things about the repair shop and how honest they are. I had called the shop and explain the situation to the service advisor and he told me to bring the vehicle in right away that they would check it out and give me their evaluation.
Upon arriving the service advisor had the mechanic bring the vehicle in right away. Upon their evaluation they had found nothing absolutely wrong with my vehicle that Nissan was telling me they were very concerned about. So the mechanic even brought me in the the garage to see for myself and everything that Nissan had stated under my vehicle I needed to be fixed looked like brand new on my vehicle. So from that day on, I will no longer be going back to Nissan of Ramsey any more. I really do appreciate South Street tire and Auto for checking my vehicle and giving me their honest opinion. From today on they will always be now my auto repair shop for all my automotive needed repairs. Thank you once again South Street tire & Auto of Warwick New York.”

“First apologies for not reviewing sooner. I limped into their shop with my Tacoma after runing over a a 6 inch spike left sticking up on the side of the road at Monksville. Someone cut down a sign and left the piece sticking up, leaving a huge hole in my new tire. My spare was stuck and could not be lowered. Roadside assistance plugged my tire with 6 plugs, just enough to get me to the shop. I was blown away by their service, proffesionalism, friendliness and feeling of family. They ordered a new tire, fixed the chain on my spare and had me on my way all at an extremely fair price! I strongly recommend them! Just as an aside check out their projects, they built yhe worlds fastest food truck and have some great vintage iron around, all a testement to their talents and attention to detail.”

“Had an amazing experience with Andrew and Eric. Went to a Mavis where they insisted I needed a new tire due to a nail in it. Where the nail was located, it didn’t seem right to me. Mavis wanted me to buy a 400+ dollar tire. I decided to get a second opinion. Andrew answered the phone and said to come in and ask for him. He took a look at the nail and said I was correct and that it could easily be plugged. Andrew and his manager, Eric, had my car completed quickly and saved me about 380 dollars.
