From the moment we arrived until our departure 24 hours later every detail was handled with precision and courtesy by the fabulous Pleasantdale Chateau staff. There was not one thing that was overlooked. From the bridal and groom attendants, Michelle and Jen; to the banquet manager, Bryan; to the captains, Iker, Jonathan, Luis and Tori, and to all the staff who greeted our guests and looked after them during the reception, your service was exceptional. When I got up to dance I returned to my seat to a refolded napkin and a reorganized place setting. When they delivered dinner they knew exactly what meal went where. “MO’s Banquet Hall is top notch! I would recommend this hall to anyone looking for a place to throw a party. Max is amazing and very helpful made my daughter’s Sweet 16 run smoothly and took the stress off of me and I was able to enjoy the night. The bartenders were amazing no complaints the photographer and videographer captured beautiful pictures and so attentive all night! If you are looking for a place this is it a one stop shop..Max again thank you for your service and your dedication and for making my daughter’s Sweet 16 a night we won’t ever forget!”

As a wedding photographer its super important to work at a wedding venue that offers not only scenic options to photograph my couple's, but also a helpful staff that makes our lives easier and The Grand has that in spades!Sal is AMAZING. I have never met someone so on top of everything! One second he is in the newly renovated bridal suite helping the bride out with things and then in the blink of an eye he's in the ballroom making sure all of the decor is being done on time! It's honestly amazing!Lets also talk about their newly renovated grounds in the back, they now have a beautiful dedicated area in the back for ceremonies and BEAUTIFUL locations for photos (see my attached photos).It really makes my life so easy to get amazing photos for my couples working here. I highly recommend them if you're on the fence about using them for your wedding!”

“I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place”

“My husband and I had our wedding here in February 2024. It was exactly what we wanted and our family and friends were blown away. The staff were so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. We loved all the food and the cocktail hour was awesome. Our guests are still talking about it. This was the first venue we ever saw and the second we walked in the venue we instantly knew it was the one and we did not look anywhere else. The venue is beautiful. We want to give a special thank you to the outstanding staff especially the bridal attendant and maître d'. “My experience at the Women's Club of Glenridge was phenomenal. Elizabeth ( office manager) was so warm and friendly from the beginning to the end. She was very professional and accommodating and made the process seamless. I was immediately sold on the venue for its historic charm and beauty. It was the perfect place for our baby shower. I must say, Luis ( building manager) was amazing. He was very helpful and went above and beyond by making our experience great. He was very accommodating and offered excellent advice on seating arrangements and decor. Overall, our experience was exceptional. We couldn't have chosen a better place to have our baby shower. “Macaluso's is such an amazing venue! Before I even talk about the amazing staff let me tell you about their INCREDIBLE food. Whenever I see that I am photographing a wedding at Macaluso's I make sure to not eat any breakfast or snacks so I can fully enjoy their food!As a wedding photographer it is super important for me to work at a venue that has scenic areas for great photos of my couples and Macaluso's does not disappoint in that category at all (see attached photos). In addition, their staff is super friendly and willing to help with anything!I can't recommend this venue enough if you are looking for a great place to host your wedding or event!”

“Went there for a weekend lunch for the 1st time. Food was very good. Lumis salad was terrific & our two pasta dishes were tasty and hot. Service was very professional and attentive. As far as value, no discounted menu for lunch which was ok but I would only likely return there for dinner.”

“My wife and I attended a concert at SOPAC featuring the Roy Hargrove Big Band. The venue and hospitality were very nice. It was an easy experience from buying tickets online to being seated in the auditorium. And of course the show was awesome. World class artists. Musically amazing AND fun!”

“I cannot recommend Halo Lounge enough. Sal was an absolute dream to work with. From the day we signed the contract until the day of my event, he was available for any questions I had — and I had many! The day that I paid my balance, he advised I purchase an adapter to ensure that my laptop would connect to his TV for the slideshow, and to come in a few days ahead so that we didn’t run into any issues on the day of the event. I wrongly assumed it would be fine, and he told me to come in and try it out anyway. Thank God I did because it didn’t work! (He even FaceTimed a friend to walk me through it!) The next day, he went in on his day off so we could try something else — Airplay worked! — which I really, really appreciated.The spot itself is incredible, and provided a great atmosphere for my party. I decorated according to my theme, but the room itself is nice enough to just roll in and host a party. Between the bar, the VIP lounge, the lobby (where the Photo Booth was) and the overall room, it was the perfect space for my 70 guests. I had so many guests tell me they were glad I had my event there so they could keep it in mind for their future events.I also want to give a huge shoutout to Joey, who oversaw my event last night. He was so helpful all night, assisting in setting up, cutting the cake and cleaning up.Highly recommend Halo for your next big event!”

“We've eaten here several times since the beginning of November. We are always greeted warmly by the owner, the waitstaff, and the enticing aroma of the food. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed every item we have ordered. I love the spiciness of the marinara sauce. Last night, I just remembered my leftover Rigato I men Penne. Thank goodness, I remembered before I got in the car. It was that goodness, I remembered my dinner for tonight! I experimented, which I rarely did, and shared the huge appetizer of stuffed artichoke with my husband, a healthy and perfectly seasoned choice. I told the owner I wish they had a less filling dessert selection, baking cookies! which most Italian restaurants do not. She said she planned to start cookies and add them to the menu. My husband has tried several of their homemade desserts and never leaves a crumb. We were not surprised to learn Al Dente has many regulars! The portions are large, and the pasta is boiled as long as it should be. We have brought friends there, and they felt the same way. We especially like that are never rushed. I'd recommend valet parking for events with sitting guests in the future.Parking: There was plenty of parking. However, they had no valet, and I prefer valet parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes, they were kids friendly. The waitresses were very professional.”

“went to see "Top Gun: Maverick" on Saturday. This was my first time in a modern theater in over 30+ yrs. It was a very pleasant experience. The tilt back seats with the adjustment controls was by far the most comfortable theatre experience I've ever had. I would definitely come back for the right movie. The only negative was having to watch the 4 or 5 clips of upcoming movies beforehand, all of which I thought were crappy. Top Gun was great.14 Jan 24. Went to see "The Beekeeper" but skipped all of the up coming movie clips this time. We had reserve seats and sat in the center of the last row. Seats were very comfortable as last time and I could see it would be very easy to fall asleep if your movie was boring. No complaints, excellent movie experience”

“Hi, my daughter had her sweet 16 here,everything went amazing the place is really pretty and really big everyone had fun and it was so spacious it allowed for everyone to dance .The food was amazing everyone loved it ,it was so savory and good .Despite this the staff was very helpful through out the night making every one feel welcome . Wilma and her staff were the best they made us feel like family. They even helped my daughter get ready in a separate room and accommodated her super well , we all had fun and everything went perfectly.Thank you so much for everything ,thank you to Wilma and all the staff that was there to help.Theres nothing bad to say this was an awesome experience with awesome people to help with the process.
