Was our second time seeing them play, and I must say I was much more impressed with their playing more than venue in ABQ, but the Santa Fe show was the perfecta blend of artistry and setting.

Just a favorite! The collection is deep, and exhibits change regularly, Plan to see something new, and don't be too disappointed if a favorite you saw couple times earlier has been replaced in the gallery. Performances in the auditorium by Pro Musica also recommended.A very good museum shop.

Loved it! It's not a huge museum but we really enjoyed the selection of art that they have. They also have a gorgeous patio.
Art is for everyone. New Mexico Museum of Art fosters a deeper understanding and enjoyment.
New Mexico Museum of Art on the Plaza is a division of New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs. The museum first opened in 1917 and was the first building in the state dedicated to art. Its galleries, reception areas and St. Francis Auditorium were made by the people of New Mexico for the promotion of the state’s rich culture to visitors and locals alike. The style of the building, called Pueblo Revival, uses modern construction materials made to look like the historic adobe churches found throughout the state’s Pueblos. Throughout its century long history, the museum has grown and redefined itself to adapt to changes in art and museum practices.
