We have been taking our cats to Canterbury for several years and are very happy.”

“My cat is a feisty orange male tabby, but he calms down once he’s settled in at JustCats. All staff are wonderful — I’ve had nothing but positive experiences in the last 9 years. My cat has had annual checkups, routine lab work and a major dental exam and teeth removal (all but three teeth!) and every exam, procedure and follow up appointments have always been completed with care by all staff. They truly love cats!”
“So grateful for the entire staff at ACVH. A few years ago my senior dog that already has mobility issues stopped being able to move at all, my vet at the time couldn't see him and said they might not be able to help. We called ACVH and they got him in asap. They changed up his meds and put him on a monthly shot. We also started laser therapy same day and the combo of everything made a difference immediately. The regimen they put him on changed his quality of life and I couldn't be more grateful.
Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating, especially since my dog is extremely fearful of both humans and other animals. Even though he was always shy during his visits, he would actually take treats from the techs which has never happened before!
Love them and would recommend them to anyone!”
“Really care and are so gentle and sweet with your pets. Like a night and day difference with our last local “top rated” vet (more like “top price” & lowest quality service.) Our last vet claimed they wouldn’t do more than one vaccination at a visit due to “health risks.” (The vet we had before that would do multiple at once if she was due.) This forced me to make multiple separate trips with my anxiety ridden dog (how is THAT not a health risk?? More so than 1+ vaccine at a time, bc I know my dog) so all these separate trips spaced over weeks apart. We were charged a flat base fee of $45 for every single vax trip. Another level of sick for an animal doctor to put their dog patient through that all in the name of charging more. I cannot express just how much better this vet is. Everyone is genuinely nice and the office is extremely organized. Every appointment I’ve been to has run fully on time! I really trust them and feel like they genuinely care. It’s not just about charging absurd amounts of money. Thank you Miller. ❤”
“We just got home from my Kitten Monit’s first official vet appointment, I wanted to immediately leave a review leaving the office as you all deserve to know how appreciated you are by your patients and their parents! Thank you to front desk staff for being super supportive and understanding of my first time cat mom anxiety, the nurse we met with for offering Monti one of his favorite treats and being so gentle with him and Dr. Krome for being so kind, knowledgeable and patient. He really seemed endeared with my little guy as hissy and bratty as he can be (he’ll be better socialized next time you guys see him lol). Huge thank you to everyone here, you guys are seriously the best and I’m grateful to have my little boy in such good hands!!”

“I have been taking my cats to Capitaland Animal Hospital for almost 10 years now. I am always so pleased with the patience and compassion they have with my kitties. One of my cats is very nervous and Dr. K is always so patient and really takes her time to make sure Poochie is as comfortable as she can be at a vet office. :) The techs and assistants are also very compassionate and kind. I'm so grateful that I found them many years ago.”

“I took my 10 year old, Vinny, to their emergency room. We had a car accident the week before; the vehicle rolled, when I came to to hear the emergency Toyota people Vinny was on my left shoulder and my truck was on it's left side. Both Vinny and I seemed un broken but sore however 3 days later Vinny began to cough and a dog who is 90 lbs gave up eating. After many calls and one visit to a new vet who had an ultrasound, Vinny was still sick and not eating for the most part. I took the hour and 15 min ride to Latham. I am so glad we did.
I cannot overstate how very kind and professional everyone there was. Vinny can be loud and so Lauren got Vinny into a room almost immediately for everyone's comfort. The receptionist was so kind upon checking us in and then when my phone was dying she found a charger I could borrow and when Vinny was allowed to drink she brought him a bowl of water. Dr LaBarge was also wonderful and rather than sedate Vinny he was able to complete the ultrasound by himself with one vet tech. Vinny is about 90lbs and extraordinarily strong but he LOVES all people (except people who scare or offend me) and he is very excited to meet and kiss everyone. With Vinny LESS is more and he didn't need sedation AND Dr LeBarge saved me some money! He diagnosed Vinny with an aspiration pneumonia.
Vinny is home and getting better every day.
When you go there keep in mind they are a business so please do not feel offended when after they give you an estimate they ask for a CREDIT CARD BEFORE service is provided. After a little thinking about this, it is smart... How else can they ensure payment??? And overall considering the level of expertise and necessary equipment the prices were very reasonable.
The hospital is clean and spacious. If you need service for your best friend I highly recommend Capitol district referral emergency room. Thank you so much!”
“Our dog had a pretty scary emergency ailment. Every member of Upstate's staff made us feel that he was getting expert medical attention and really caring handling. Diagnosis and possible remedies were explained clearly and patiently. We arrived nervous wrecks but every step of the process reassured us that he was in the best hands. He's back home now, back to his old joyful self. We've since learned we have two other neighbors who visited Upstate and they are just as impressed as we are.”

I don't have to get into all of the reasons here but let me tell you, this clinic is everything we were lacking everywhere else. The team is SOOOO nice and they take their time with you and your pet. “Dr. Z was a true professional when he delivered bad news to me about my doggie having congestive heart disease and a swollen liver because the blood is not flowing properly from my doggie s heart. The office visit, x-ray and medication totalled $830. The owners need to lower their prices. It's a lot of money if you don't have pet insurance.”

Starting from the entrance to check out, you feel how much there care and the positive vibes. Just a great environment which allows for a nice place to visit with your pet. “Highly recommend this veterinary group! I have been searching for a place to establish care for my two cats. Staff were kind, down to earth, and knowledgeable. I totally messed up appointment times, but they still made time in the schedule to see us. They definitely weren’t obligated to do this, but the gesture was very much appreciated (cats in the car is a stressful event for all involved). “I’m in absolute awe of how amazing Kelinde and the staff are with my pets. I started coming to Demlar about a year ago after leaving my previous vet for poor practices. I have a reactive dog and two cats, one who is very much a scardy cat! They have been truly wonderful (specifically Kelinde) every step of the way. Not only are they great with all my pets they also take the time to truly hear your concerns and educate you. They aren’t all about money and care more about the well being of your loved ones.
