“Had a 70th birthday surprise party here and it was perfect! We booked this location for the inside/outside combo and it did not disappoint. We paid to have use of the outdoor area/bar (TV included for Sunday Football!) and had a band play. The tents outside were big enough to hold guests under during a brief rain and the grass area was amazing for the kids to run around and play. Linda was very easy to communicate with and our guests are still talking about how great it was.”

Not only do they have the ability to execute any ideas that you may have, they have a wealth of knowledge (and seemingly endless warehouse of decorations) that they are more than happy to share to make your wedding day absolutely perfect.Leading up to our wedding, we gave James our general design plan and supplied decorations that we thought fit the theme (winter library), but otherwise gave little specific guidance on how to set up ceremony space or the various spaces within the venue (since we had neither the energy nor artistic eye to plan out those details). What James was able to put together for us was absolutely stunning and better than anything we could have imagined. In fact, we have had multiple guests describe the ambiance James was able to create for us as “stunning” and “magical.”On the day of our wedding, my husband and I wanted for nothing. Indeed, without ever having to ask for anything, the team at SMCC anticipated our every need. James, in particular, had everything we never knew we needed within arms reach (including, among other things, fashion tape, a scrunchy, and bobby pins, all of which James kept stored in his fashion-forward utility vest), and did everything he possibly could (including holding the train of my dress outside in the rain while we were outside smoking) to ensure my husband and I were as comfortable as possible. We’ve heard from many guests that their experience with SMCC’s team was no less amazing.Our guests all raved about the food, particularly the filet mignon and chicken francaise, and marveled at the table service for bar drinks (which seems all but unheard of these days). My husband happened to be partial to the spinach ravioli alfredo served with dinner, and I loved the mac & cheese included in the BBQ station and the buffalo chicken pizza included in the pizza station.When my husband and I were choosing between wedding venues, many venues we looked at seemed to be nothing more than wedding factories. Almost every venue we visited or contacted focused their sales pitch on one thing: what services they could sell us from their catalogue of cookie-cutter wedding options. SMCC was different. In fact, after a long day of visiting venues, we realized that Lisa of SMCC was the only person we had met at any venue who bothered to ask my husband and I about our relationship and our interests—e.g., how we met, how my husband had proposed, what we did for a living, what we did for fun, and what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It was this human touch that made SMCC stand out among the sea of venue options. And it is this human touch that I believe makes the team at SMCC excel at what they do. “I called the restaurant today on my daughter’s birthday (2/26/24) to ask for a table for 5 people including two children. I was told there’s not enough seating for everyone but they would gladly accommodate us at the event space next door. I agreed. My family arrived at around 6 and the two ladies took our order and Yvonne took a few minutes to prepare the table for us. When she led us into the room we were so delighted and astounded! The place was so beautifully decorated, and she managed it in a very short time! All the food was delicious! She made my daughter feel so special, she danced with the girls and helped cut the cake! I was very lucky and blessed to have been given this wonderful memory! It was such a pleasure to meet Yvonne, she is so sweet and has such a good heart! “From my bride: Book this venue NOW. The Royalton Mansion is a hidden gem that is absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff is so kind. We were blown away by EVERYTHING. Mike and Arturo have been amazing since the first day we stepped in the front door to tour the Royalton. They truly make you feel like family. Communication has been very clear and they made us feel right at home. From that first conversation, everything was about us. We were able to make the Royalton our dream wedding and they never said no to any idea or ask.All of our guests have said this is the best wedding they have ever been to. We have received tons of compliments on how beautiful the venue is, the variation and amount of food at cocktail hour, and how every single dinner came out hot and in a timely fashion. All of the staff was professional and cared so much. Arturo was amazing and even gave the groom his own collar stays when we realized he forgot them. Michelle (the bridal attendant) was phenomenal. “For the holidays, we had our company party here. For starters, the room was beautiful! The decor and esthetics were so cozy and warm, including the windows viewing the premises. We had a lunch brunch, and ever tasted delicious. The staff was very friendly. As for coordinating the party, a lovely woman by the name of Lori was my main contact. Lori was beyond helpful and kind, and truly went above and beyond. I cannot thank the entire team enough. We look forward to coordinating future events with Heritage.”

“I was at Vienna of Roslyn on Friday, January 26th for a Sweet 16. I had a wonderful experience and as I looked around, so did everyone else. The staff were so accommodating and professional. Everyone seemed to pitch in where it was needed to make the guests feel special and attended to. Huge shout out to the DJ's. They played music for every age group and everyone was on their feet. 10/10 for service and fun!”

“This review is for Cold Spring Harbor Country Club...not Oheka Castle. Situated around the gorgeous landmark, this course is well kept, has some good length and offers beautiful views/photo opportunities with the castle in the backdrop. Since the course runs down from castle there is a decent amount of undulation (hills) which make for a challenge with uneven lies and breaking putts on the greens. The staff is amazing from the pro shop and caddies to the dining room staff and maintenance workers. 10/10 country club experience. Definitely recommend playing/visiting if you're fortunate enough to have the opportunity.”

We booked the Table 7 space, which I highly recommend.Planning the event was done almost exclusively by email, which was convenient for me. The team was easy to work with, responsive to my questions and also afforded me flexibility with the menu where I wanted to incorporate some additional vegetarian options.The night of the event went off without a hitch. Terry was our maitre d' and she was excellent. Would recommend requesting her! Our bartenders were top notch and the staff were courteous and professional as well.The food was delicious and displayed beautifully as a buffet, along with passed hors d'oeuvres.The space was perfect for what we were looking for - an informal, laid-back lounge-like environment. The bar is spacious and the decorations (done by Just Delightfull, a preferred vendor of The Inn) were beautiful.I genuinely could not have been happier with every aspect of the event.”

“We had a great time visiting with our 5 year old son. There were plenty of interactive exhibits to keep him entertained and engaged the entire time we were there. Every single room had buttons to press that controlled different things that related to aviation and space. I also was able to chat with a docent for 10 minutes to learn more about the history of aviation on Long Island. Such a neat history and what an awe inspiring collection of planes and historical relics this place has!! They also have two actual moon rocks in this place as well as memorabilia from Apollo 13 and other space ships!!”

Trento’s version of the Espresso Martini is my favorite one on Long Island!The fried calamari is so lightly breaded that I felt I was eating just the fish. It is the best calamari that I have ever had on Long Island.However, the Fusilli Bolognese tasted meh! Nevertheless, this restaurant deserves five stars for its quality of food and superb service.”

We had our 165 guest wedding at Memorare this past weekend and to say that they made all of our dreams come true when it comes to what we envisioned, would be an understatement!!! From our initial interaction with Barry to our monthly meetings with Corri (because I was ALOT), they listened to everything we wanted and they certainly delivered. “We are so glad we booked BYC for our wedding day!! Since the staff, especially Jenn and Eric, were so on top of things in planning, we didn't feel the need for a wedding planner. The staff took care of our timeline, made sure everything was set up for us exactly how we pictured it, and broke everything down for us at the end of the night. Everyone raved about the food and drinks, and the staff serving were extremely attentive. The ballroom was the perfect space for our large wedding (200 guests) to feel comfortable and not cramped, and left plenty of room on the dance floor (though it was full the whole time!). We couldn't imagine a more perfect day, and its proximity to Long Beach for the ceremony at my husband's home church was an extra bonus for us. We wish we could go to another event there!!”

Home cooked meals, kids love it.I like they served variety of food and small portions but very frequently.My son is always happy when I pic him up, it means he have good day, he’s rested and he’s feed and learning ?Always amazing artwork comes home.Kids are happy seeing there art exposed on the wall. It brings there joy.Director is amazing person.Occasionally they have outdoor parties and celebrations events. You get to know everyone, staff and head of directors. Even there moms comes over.Last even was hosted for the end of the summer, we got to try a lot of home cooking meals and if this is what the kids are eating Im sold… it was DELICIOUS ?”

“Attended a baby shower at this beautiful and spacious venue and thought how cool it was that it's above an active firehouse.The hall space is located on the 2nd floor and does not have an elevator but the steps are short. There is a fully equipped bar, ice machine kitchen and ample space with 2 super clean bathrooms. If you're expecting guests, there is a parking lot around the corner. The views from the building are beautiful and thinking of booking this in the future.”
