I’ve been a patient at Lake Success Primary Care for many years. Whenever I go the staff is always very helpful and kind, especially Kathy from the front desk. All the doctors have been great. I would highly recommend Lake Success Primary Care to any of my friends and family.

At Optum, many of our primary care doctors are part of our internal medicine or family medicine departments. A primary care provider maintains a long term relationship with their patients. They provide preventative care and screenings, as well as management of most common chronic and acute conditions. Primary care providers can specialize in internal medicine, pediatrics or family medicine. Internists are trained to take care of adults (18 and over), while family medicine providers are trained to care for patients of all ages. A pediatrician mainly takes care of patients under 18.
