“I had a fitting with Tom on 10/30/23. It’s been a little over a month and wanted to share my experience and thoughts since the initial fitting.I should preface my review with the fact that I am a relatively novice rider. I mainly commuted to work and attempted to steal local strava KOM’s. I had no idea of how adjustable a bicycle could be. I began using an indoor trainer and began trying to chase down various points of pain, soreness, and discomfort. I found anything approaching 1 hour became unbearable. I started a training plan and began with an FTP of 169W.As for the fitting, I met with Tom. I found him extremely knowledgeable and personable. He quickly assessed my concerns and begun to address each pain point I had. He also swapped out a stem at no additional charge. I found the whole thing to be informative and interesting. When I returned to the trainer I found most of my pain and aches had been alleviated. I also found I had a soreness in my left knee. Tom had mentioned that people can get use to poorest of fits and changes may cause some discomfort as your body gets use to it. The pain had gone away after a few days and hasn’t returned yet. I continued the training plan for another 4 weeks. I was able to complete all sessions comfortably. A once tortuous endeavor. My final FTP test resulted in 241W. I have no doubt that the fitting I received was crucial to my massive improvement. I have no idea how much I was leaving on the table due to my initial poor fit.I cannot recommend this service enough.”

“Talking with the owners and getting good information so I could make an informed decision. Didn't try to just make a sale. Knowledgeable, friendly service.”

“I walked into Kickstand Culture today hoping to replace some damaged spokes on one of our bikes before heading out for a camping trip. The expert staff quickly assessed my situation and determined that the wheel itself needed replacement. The challenge was that I had only a few hours before leaving, and they didn't have the required item in stock. However, the team went above and beyond by offering a solution—they had a spare wheel on a parts bike, which they generously gave me for free. This was my first time at Kickstand Culture, and their exceptional customer service ensured that I'll be a loyal customer from now on. Despite the opportunity to sell me a new wheel, they empathized with my predicament and provided the help I needed. Businesses like this are rare, and I'm incredibly grateful for making our day and camping trip possible. Thank you”

“Took my son’s bike for some brake repairs that I tried to do myself. The gentleman there showed me how the brake handles I purchased online were the wrong size for the cables. Fixed the bike in minutes for a very fair price! Will recommend to everyone!”

“I was 30 mins out from the start of my triathlon at silver lake today. I noticed a small puncture in my tire. I brought it over to have it looked it by Love & Sprockets as they were the on-site mechanic. They did a thorough once over and said my tire should be fine. Which I understand that there are no guarantees. He noticed that my chain was on its last leg and greased it for me to help me out. Really appreciate the help!!”

“I had a bike tuneup done at their Williamsville location and the work done was fabulous. My 4 year old bike literally appeared and rode like a brand new bike when I got it back. Outstanding job by the service guy who worked on my bike. Plus I got my bike back same day. 100% satisfied and I would highly recommend.”
