Neat little store with very good coffee and cappuccino, tasty (though limited) food like sandwiches, salads, and quiche.

This was a nice find! Quiche and breakfast sandwich are delicious. The lattes are really great too. The property is lovely, lots of places to sit outside. And lots of great things to shop for in the store as well. Looking forward to going back!

Such a wonderful place! I called and spoke with Louise and explained that I lived in a different state but wanted to surprise my parents a latte and breakfast and she went ABOVE and BEYOND and hand delivered it to them!! Our family LOVES this cafe!
We are a mercantile located in the 1856 original general store for the historic hamlet of Vischer Ferry, New York, halfway between Albany and Saratoga Springs. We offer fresh baked goods, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, quiche, espresso drinks, and ice cream in the summer. Our curated merchandise includes local and handmade products; our popular namesake scented candles; soaps and lotions; stationery and greeting cards from several lines, including Rifle Paper Co.; and many other unique items. We have ample seating on our charming back patio and lawn.
