“Got 19 inch black rims and 4 sets of performance tires for around 2K. Mike and his partner took their time with me especially after I was unsure if i wanted to change the rims multiple times. I drove myself crazy so I could only imagine his nerves. He was nice enough to speak to me outside of work and taught me a few things about rims and other car parts. “I just wanna say Mr. Mike’s Auto Repair has been where he is in Selden over 50 years. When I moved here 25 years ago I had my own places that I used and slowly but surely places go out of business. I just decided today for the first time to give Mr. Mike’s a try. My Wife who’s been living here her whole life, said he has been in business over 50 years. if you’re not good and honorable you do not last that long. So I brought my Chevy Suburban LT 2017 to him this morning with a couple of codes on it. Rather than starting to replace things that trigger a code, I wanted to bring it to him and have him check the car out and let me know what it needs. He called me after the car was there a few hours and he said he ran a smoke test and a vacuum test spent close to three hours on the car and we now know what the vehicle needs for a repair this Monday. He only charged me $120 diagnostic fee which I thought was incredible.From now on I will be using Mr. Mike’s for all my Chevy Suburban LT’s needs. I am a commercial driver. I drive people back-and-forth to airports, so it’s
crucial to have a mechanic with tons of experience. Please don’t be discouraged by negative feedback of one star on here. These are people that come in and ask to have their own parts put on cars and try to take the short way out on a repair.”

The prices are fair and reasonable. They also do warranty work. This is a real auto mechanic shop not some flashy chain. Would highly recommend.”

“Just moved to LI from CT, Denny was my first choice, and he will continue to be. His pricing is solid, and he has a very flexible schedule. He recommends whats needed but doesn't sell you whats not. He took care of my Fiance's car, and I am going back to get a new set of tires on my personal car. All around a great guy, and having a reliable and personable mechanic is very hard to find these days. Don't waste your time going to goodyear, pepboys or any other chain. Peace of mind at an affordable price is what Denny offers, with no headaches.”
“I pulled in this place randomly last week for a possible patch/plug on my tire. Turns out my valve was faulty. They diagnosed the problem within maybe 2 minutes, fixed it, and gave me a good price.
