“A very warm welcome it's just the beginning of this immaculately clean Athletic Facility. It is filled with many warm and professional people that staff this great complex. I've been in gyms and fitness centers all over the world and this place is beautiful because it's so clean. It has much to offer families and little ones. It has a nice size gym for those who like that kind of exercise. It has a magnificent pool with lifeguards and a warmer pool for older people and it's bright filled with sunlight. The locker rooms are spotless. There's even coffee for the morning and a place to lounge and relax and just sit back and relax. It would be great if every community could have something like this but unfortunately that's not the case. I highly recommend this institution to the people of Tarrytown and neighboring places. I had an excellent tour and I'm going to become a member because I see the due diligence. That is most important. It's the workers that make a facility great not just the facility on its own. This well-run complex is a winner. If you're looking for some serenity in a peaceful, family environment, this place is highly recommended.”

“What a wonderful experience for our toddler! His teachers are loving, supportive and fun. It is a well managed operation with ample opportunity to engage with the supervisory team. Also, the center provides many fun activities for the entire family. Very pleased with all aspects of the center. Kudos to the staff!”

“My siblings and I all attended Sacred Heart starting in the late 70's. There are 5 of us and all turned out relatively successful (software engineer, doctor, teacher, business owner, executive). I credit Sacred Heart with providing us with the stepping stones that encouraged and prepared us for our life journey after the 8th grade.I made the choice to continue the legacy and send my son to Sacred Heart as well. It remains an excellent school which fosters a close-knit community. So far, the teachers and staff have been fantastic. You really start to understand the quality of education at Sacred Heart when you interact with parents and students from other schools. Alongside the educational element, the school does an outstanding job of teaching discipline, moral values, and social skills. It's heartening to see these shine through as my son grows and develops at Sacred Heart. I am not convinced that the excitement and joy he exudes each and every day towards learning would come out by attending any other school.”

“Our son is the second child that has attended The Little Red because we were so impressed with Anna a few years ago when our daughter was there. His verbal, behavioral and social skills have advanced incredibly since September. He is always talking about his friends, Mrs. M/Ms. Noelle and all of the things he has done that day. Anna has a different weekly theme which includes stories, arts and crafts, sensory bin, etc. The children not only work on their communication and behavioral skills, but also gross and fine motor skills as well. The class size is small with 6 children per 2 adults which allows the children to connect with each other and enhance their learning. Anna is also wonderful with potty training and will give advice on any issues/concerns you may have with your childs learning/behavior. We are sad that the school year is coming to an end because it means that our family’s time is up with Anna. I would not hesitate recommending TLR to anyone as it is a caring and enriching environment for your child.”

Our day starts very early and as healthcare worker and a single mom. The staff is amazing in so many ways. They always welcome us 6am with a smile and ready to start the day. She loves and talks about every staff and how they play with her and how they are her “best friend” I walk knowing she is in good hands and I appreciate the safe and nurturing environment they provide. It's clear that the caregivers prioritize a stimulating learning environment, which has had a positive impact on my child's development. I appreciate the effort put into making each day a valuable learning experience. If you are looking for a place you found it ! I’m incredibly grateful to have found this daycare. They not only take the time to get to know your children but the experiences they offer are invaluable. The teachers are so loving and truly bond with each child. “We started our son at Children’s Corner on Westchester Ave when he was 6 months old. After considering several child care options, we quickly felt we made the correct choice with how great the infant teachers were. Miss Anastasia and Nancy remained his favorite teachers even as he progressed out of the infant room. Aliya'h and Cookie run the center and are great with communication. We had to relocate our son to a different center due to a move, but we kept him enrolled at a different Children’s Corner location due to the positive experience at Westchester Ave. As good of a total value as you’ll find in the area.”

“I used to work here as a TA and it's probably the best job i had! It makes a difference when you love what you do and love the people you work with. It's a small school and only known through word of mouth so if you are in the area, like to look at reviews first but unsure, I promise it’s worth to check out. If you looking for a traditional mixed with Montessori-style based teaching then this might be the right fit for your child. The teachers, Ms. Jeannie and Ms. Lisa are passionate at what they do! They treat every child like their own and honestly i could go on and on.”

“My daughter has been going to Mindful Montessori since she was 2.5 yrs old. It is a true Montessori school with qualified teachers, we love their nurturing care for the children and dedication. My daughter learned to read at 3.5 and do small addition due to their Montessori approach. The children are exposed to math, languages, geography, biology etc. Every spring, they get to see the life cycle of ducks or chicks. From the egg in the incubator, to the chick coming out of the egg and then caring for the chick. Same for the life cycle of the butterfly, so its not only in books and toys/material, but real life. This is the way you get young minds to learn and be engaged. Every time I go inside the school to read or volunteer for an event, I am in awe of how calm, clean and happy the classroom is. My daughter loves going to school and told me that she loves Mindful Montessori because the teachers hug them and tell them they love them, to me this is the best review any school can get. We love the school and are looking forward to our daughter's 3rd year there.”

“TLC is an amazing place. It's a home away from home. My kids have been going there for the past couple off years including summer camp and I couldn't be happier.While I'm at work my mind is always at eased because I know my kids are in a safe learning environment and having lots off fun as well. The staff there is amazing and they all treat my kids like if they are their own. The rate is pretty reasonable and they are super flexible for working parents. “Our daughter has been at the The Learning Experience for almost one year and we are beyond pleased with our experience. She started when she was 6 months and has flourished since then. The center is updated, clean and safe. All the staff are friendly, courteous and compassionate.She spent about 6 months in the Infant B classroom. The teachers were so great and they cared so much for our daughter. Now she is in Infant D classroom and she is learning so much and engaging with all the other children. We received such thoughtful artwork and receive cute pictures of them interacting in the classroom. All her teachers have been amazing!As working parents, we know that our daughter is safe, happy and engaged throughout the day and this puts our minds at ease while we are at work.
