This essentially is a historical place if you like black and white or half Moon cookies as I do. This is where they started. A cost is very good compared to someone like Wegmans where two cookies are 550 and you can get a whole platter of eight for $10
Hemstrought’s, famous for the “original Halfmoon Cookie” has not changed the recipe since 1920.
Cookies are baked from scratch every morning with all natural ingredients and hand frosted with a chocolate fudge and vanilla buttercream frosting.
Although there are many renditions of our cookie circulating in the market (maybe you have heard of “black and whites”?), none can compare to the decadent, but light taste and soft texture of our original recipe.
