“I wanted a Speed Queen after doing a bunch of research on YouTube. They are high quality commercial washers/dryers for home use. You can’t buy them at Home Depot or Lowe’s so I was looking for a retailer. I talked to another shop first and they were ill informed, but then I talked to Erik at Village Appliances and I was confident they knew what they were doing. The installer did a great job moving the machines in and the old ones out. He did a test of the new machines, and I’m thrilled to have my new laundry set up!”
“Curtos worked with our contractor to provide a custom fridge that had complicated paneling that matched the woodwork of our kitchen. Unfortunately, the contractor did a poor job and it required replacement hardware. Curtos was very patient and saw the project through to completion even though the mistakes were not their fault. Working with reliable suppliers matters!”

“I've known about and dealt with Stanton for years. Bill, the owner, used to refer customers to me when they needed help with their PCs. (They focused more on appliances and general consumer electronics). He died in mid-2022. From what I heard, his surviving wife, Virginia, tried to keep it going but decided instead to shut it down and move out of the area. Stanton was among the last of the old-school repair shops. I'll miss that place, and Bill.”
“Recently I decided to buy a new GE laundry center for my condo. I knew the small size of the laundry closet could make the installation tricky, and I chose Berger because I heard they did a good job in other units in the building. I bought the unit from Rob A, who was friendly and easy to work with. Berger sent Toby and Anthony to deliver and install the unit, and together they did a great job. They showed a lot of skill in moving such a large and heavy appliance through the narrow halls of the condo to the laundry closet, and they were very careful not to damage the floors, walls, mirrors, and wall lamps. It turned out that connecting the hoses was not straightforward because of the location of the washer hookups, but Toby and Anthony figured out and implemented a solution quickly. I would definitely recommend Berger for appliance installation to others.”
“We have 2 central vac units in our large home, one of which was not working properly. Paul immediately went to work, checking every single outlet and realized something was stuck in the tubing. He traced it down to one of the basement elbow joints and found that we had vacuumed up a small object blocking the suction. All working perfectly now!!! I highly recommend!!!”

Michael C. always takes the time out to answer any questions I may have and provides me with the best options available. In a pinch he delivers what we are looking for. Michael always goes above and beyond to make things happen for us.

“I don't frequent Home Depot - usually it's on an as needed basis if I ever need to fix something in my apartment. I was running errands with my parents the other day and they were looking for some industrial-strength drain cleaner; they knew that HD carried products beyond the standard Liquid Plumr, so we decided to stop in. The look and feel of this HD is the same as others I've been to. It didn't take us long to find the drain cleaner, and one of the employees who was working in the aisle saw us looking and made a few recommendations for brands that were superior to others. Upon checkout, the line was kind of long, but it moved quickly. They had multiple registers open, and the team members working were quick to get everyone out a quickly as possible. I know HD experiences can be hot and cold, but I was impressed with my experience here. The store was clean, well staffed, and before I knew it we were out the door. I wouldn't hesitate to return here for my home improvement needs.”

He took the time to clearly explain the features of the refrigerator and carefully went over the dimensions to make sure it would fit properly in my home. Even though I was in a rush because I was on my lunch hour, Kenneth never made me feel hurried. He truly went above and beyond to help me and made the whole process easy and stress-free. His patience, knowledge, and excellent customer service really stood out. I highly recommend working with him if you’re shopping at this location. I really wish I was able to finish my order at the store, but there was an issue with the computer not showing the product correctly. Therefore I had to leave and complete my order on my phone, but I was able to select the fridge that I needed because of his input.”
