“I went here for open house today and it went pretty great! Some of the staff is very knowledgeable about classes and were friendly. I didn't find it hard to get around at all but the parking was a nightmare. They had a tiny lot reserved for open house which I thought was ridiculous because there were large groups of people going in. The new building they put up looks great”

“Started getting my books here after my local comic shop closed. It's a bit of a trek in comparison to my local comic shop but they make up for it with such easy subscription options via the app. You get emails for all your comics well ahead of thyme and they don't harp on you to come in and get your comics. There's plenty of back issues and boxes full of old comics to sift through. Definitely give them a try!”

“I stopped in to say hi on a whim and I felt so at home immediately. For fans of divination, spirituality, chakra alignment, crystal reiki, meditation, and everything in between, this store is for you!! The two folks working today were so inviting and down to earth. I didn't enter with intent to buy anything but I plan to come back when I can make a good choice on a purchase. I'd like to see more tarot decks in stock; if they had the full size rider deck instead of the pocket edition I would have instantly been sold. Great store to shop local! ?”

“I went there just to check out the store and ended up leaving with a box of books and records, and two plates of waffles (did not want to share). The owner is great and community focused. While there, he introduced us to a local artist and got us connected with other local bookstores. The owner is a true lover of books and arts, but also a big supporter of local businesses and artists. Also, if you are a collector of books, ask to see his vault of vintage, hard to find hardcopies, and autograph collection. You will not be disappointed. We will be back.”

“Was in Buffalo for the day and came upon Cool Beat. My wife and I spent a couple of hours going through the records and speaking with Wayne who is very kind and knowledgeable about music. We left with a few records, some collectibles and made a new friend.”

“1st time going in there because we thought it would be too expensive for us, but we were very wrong. They have an abundance of books, records and so much more. It's a huge beautiful place. They have a huge kids section and loads of seats to just grab a book and sit and read. I love the prices and the employees are amazingly helpful. It truly is amazing and definitely something for everyone. They have their own bonus card where you can earn points for items. Great place. We bought 2 books. I can't wait to go back.”

“Tried this place for the first time today and loved it! The food is great and is made fresh to order. They sell books and candles. You can also bring your dog in with you to order if you want and sit in the outside patio. Lots of flavors for lattes and they had fresh baked goods too. Definitely will be back!”

“A great independent book store who provided much knowledge about African American graphic novels. They were especially helpful during the Black Lives Matter movement. I am very grateful for the help they provided and the direction given.”

“Locally owned shop to purchase Greek paraphernalia! With lots of customizable Honestly this place wasn't the most organized , but the guy knew how to locate everything that I asked with ease. Everything was also reasonably priced. You certainly couldn't find cheaper prices on line. Just as a heads up I am pretty sure that they do mostly customizations for their orders so you might want to get in and order what you want in advance. I particularly appreciated all of the items that they had for Kappa! Yo to the Nupes .”

“I ordered these two books online and went to pick them up a few days later. I received just the one book and was told the other book was not able to be found. I went to the customer help desk and the two very nice women working went on a hunt throughout the store to find me these books. I live in Costa Rica and me ordering online just simply is not a reasonable option unless it’s when I’m in the states. THANK YOU for going the extra mile this day for me!”

“I'm always a s***** for a bookstore, despite having overflowing bookshelves myself. I'm also a librarian, so I can get pretty much any book in a moments notice. I remember coming here a few years ago, and it was fun browsing the different shelves of books. They used to have a bunch of old trading card packs, but didn't see any during this visit. They also had a bunch of VHS tapes, which are always fun to see. A few vinyl records and action figures are also spread throughout the store. A few books that had multiple copies each had a different price on the outside. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because they didn't have many collectibles.”

“They got rid of the AirPods and speakers in the book store making it almost useless and only good if you want hoodies or shirts. If you need little stuff just go to cvs or riteaid this is kinda overpriced.”
