“John Basso was great to work with! My realtor also loved working with him & has added him to her personal referral list for good realtors. Movement Mortgage was my initial pre-approval & could not match the quote I got with DHL on the same day. DHLs online portal are very easy to use for uploading documents. DHL was the easiest part for me in the process of buying my first house. I will say the base website does need a scrub for broken links / updating / incoherency. l almost gave up at starting a quote because the base site would not let me submit a quote estimate. You have to find the loan officers page & go through your chosen officers link & NOT use the base site. Once this hiccup cleared, it was all smooth sailing!”

(Review below) We purchased a beach property last month and I cannot even imagine navigating all the nuances of coastal property closing without him. I had no idea and I own a real estate firm. He is the most knowledgeable and professional mortgage broker. He knew every detail of flood insurance and special items required to close on coastal property. He stayed in communication with me and responded quickly to any questions I had. We never could have closed this transaction in the required time without his expertise. (Our seller was working out a 1031 exchange with this property.) Jeff secured a great interest rate and we were able to make it through underwriting in 13 days. Honestly AMAZING!
