“My family had a house on Emerald Isle for 23 years, literally since my siblings and I were newborns. We went to this bookstore many, many times and it’s a key piece of me and my siblings’ childhood. Just like another reviewer mentioned, the creaky floors and labyrinth of books make it the sweetest, coziest bookstore I’ve come across. There was a time that signs were on the door that said they would be closing but I am so glad that they were able to remain open still to this day, based on reviews! I haven’t been back in a couple of years but thought I would write a review in appreciation. Thank you for providing such a charismatic little shop to Emerald Isle ❤️ Please never get rid of that incredible, creaky floor”
