“This is a wonderful vet practice. I have been coming here since we moved to the area 8 years ago.So many people have experienced vets that try to nickel and dime you; this practice is not like that. I am very sensitive to my dog's health issues and several times that I have asked for bloodwork or an xray they've recommended not doing it as bloodwork had been done recently or they didn't feel there was a need.We live less than 10 minutes from here so I have referred several neighbors to them. One neighbor had a 16 year old dog in great health. The vet she was seeing recommended palliative care and just wanted to drug her dog up. She started going to Bel Aire and with Dr. Packard's care her dog lived another 2 years not drugged up.Another neighbor just thanked me tonight for referring her to Dr. Haymore (who my dog currently sees and we absolutely love him and Ashley). Her dog had experienced a somewhat serious kidney issue and it seems her dog's kidney values are back to normal with their care.My dog has a sensitive stomach and was experiencing issues despite being on a prescription diet. Haymore took the time to listen to me read off the ingredients on her treats. He immediately zeroed in on an ingredient in one treat and told me to cut that one out. Stomach issues were resolved.This is a really great practice with people who truly care about your animals. I cannot recommend them enough.”

“I was calling around to see who could get our cat in to be neutered. Luckily when I called them they had a next day appointment due to a cancellation. So I was very excited about that, I took Klondike in the next day to be neutered and i was told surgery went great. His incision looks very good and he seems to be doing great. They all were very kind, caring, and friendly at the clinic. I am glad I brought him in they are very affordable, and they do really great work. If you have any questions or concerns they are very helpful & offer to see your pet to check them out. Khlondike is a flat face persian so I was a bit nervous when he went in for surgery, bc they are sometimes prone to higher risk during surgery. They updated me after surgery was done and told me that it went great, so i was extremely relieved. I will definitely bring my pets in anytime I need to get one of them spayed or neutered in the future. I highly recommend them.”

“My cats got allergic reaction to a medicine and that was the reason of my visit here.The staff was friendly and attentive. I did have to wait a little past my appointment time to get checked.The nurses are nice as well as the doctor. Vet visits are not cheap which i found out afterwards so so don’t be surprised. If they tell you they want to do treatments or anything else, just be sure to ask about the cost beforehand.I would recommend this place for cat owners.”

After being at a previous vet's office that felt like a cold clinic, it's been nice to feel like this staff actually cares.Our oldest girl, a mini dachshund, had some skin issues that couldn't get resolved. I'd spent a lot of money and time on visits, shots and meds at the previous vet. One of the doctors here got her skin in better shape with the recommendation of regular bathing in medicated shampoo and cleaning skin folds with medicated pads. It really made her quality of life better and I was able to stop the allergy meds!Unfortunately, she recently became ill and it was time for a difficult decision. I'm grateful for Dr. Poore and Andrew's kindness, respect and compassionate care of me and our girl when it was time to say goodbye.”

“I recently switched from the Banfield inside of PetSmart on Lawndale because 1. You're not allowed in the back unless you request it when making your appt, 2. After my dog's services were completed, the tech just handed me my dog and said she's good without explaining what they did, 3. The front desk personnel didn't want to hear my complaints, 4. PetSmart groomer had to take my dog back and forth trying to complete her nail trim after I noticed one paw hadn't even been trimmed. However, since transferring to Highwoods Ave, I have nothing but praise for them. GREAT STAFF and COMMUNICATION! I was tempted to terminate my pet insurance and go back to a regular vet until I went here.”

“We have gone to lots of vets over the years. At one point we had four cats and three dogs! I’m quite picky. I look for someone who has some common sense and looks to do the most logical thing rather than demanding a bunch of lab work and X-rays before even examining. We recently began using Lake Brandt and Dr. Lofgren and I have nothing but good things to say. We have a 14 year old dog with LOTS of issues so we are at the vet a lot. Dr. Lofgren will call me back if I have more questions, he will make sure we have care even if they don’t have any open appointments. I highly recommend them.”

“We just left north elm animal veterinary. They are great!!! Our veterinarian was out today and we had to find somewhere else to take our dog. She had been sick for 2 days and we were starting to become concerned. I called and they fit us in right away. I had had met one of the owners at Orangetheory and she seemed really nice. We saw Dr. Sims and she is most definitely an animal person. Tipsy loved her immediately. Which in my book is always a good sign. Dr. Sims was not in a rush and took her time examining Tipsy. We will most definitely be bringing out other 3 dogs here in the future. Nothing big was wrong with Tipsy. Just a bacteria infection. A few days of meds and she will be good as new.”
