“TL/DR: They stock aluminum foil. ;o) Yesterday I discovered that I could store Extrabucks directly on my CVS card. I had $7.00 to spend, so I redeemed that amount for something that I need occasionally: Alka Seltzer. Free is free. The cash register kicked out $6.00 of Extrabucks. My local CVS doesn't stock aluminum foil, this location does. At least that's what CVS's website said. I had $6.00 worth of free money to spend on my CVS card (and a lot of raw hamburger to freeze). This CVS location is only a few minutes drive from my home, so I made a leisurely journey there today right after lunchtime. Yes, they had the item, which I basically got for free. There was only one cashier up front so there was a line to pay. That is pretty much the norm for local CVS stores. The cashier was friendly and smiling. That is SO refreshing! Customers were checked out quickly, so I didn't have to wait over five minutes. Store patrons were more or less properly social distancing so that made me happy too. There were several cars in line to pick up prescriptions at the drive-thru. That's normal. CVS and Walgreen's are popular pharmacies around here. The store looked clean and well managed. The shelves were well stocked. There were dozens of Covid masks for sale. I found what I wanted...so I left happy. PS: This CVS is one hundred yards from JD's Smokehouse. I ordered a takeout brisket sandwich and a side of banana pudding. It was fantastic as usual. Today was a good day!”

“For years if I wanted an adult beverage I had to drive eight miles into Lenoir just to get a beer, now since Antioch food Mart started selling beer and wine it's a convenient one half of a mile from my house.The folks who run the store are always very friendly and quick to get you checked out and on your way, they have gas including non ethanol gasoline and a variety of snacks, drinks, and beer and wine products as well... unfortunately they do not have a public restroom.. oh and they also have kerosene if you happen to need that .I certainly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and purchase a little something if you need to.”
