Lucasville Area Historical Society

Hours: The Lucasville Area Historical Society was formed in 1985 and reorganized in 2016. The LAHS continues to actively promote the preservation of artifacts significant to our community, along with disseminating historical information through publications, events, and collaborations with area schools, civic organizations, churches, and citizens. Due to an outpouring of community support, the LAHS was able to facilitate the planning and successful celebration of Lucasville's Bicentennial in 2019. And community support didn't stop in 2019 because in 2021 LAHS opened the Heritage House, a place dedicated to telling the story of our Lucasville community through use of donated and loaned artifacts for both permanent and rotating/seasonal displays.
