Hospice Huronia - Tomkins House

Hours: A hospice is a hospital expertise in a home-like environment for those who are at the end of life. People don't come to Tomkins House to die, they come to live out the remaining days of their life with their family and friends around and 24/7 nursing care to support them. Some of our residents are eating, some are not as the body begins to shut down due to a life-limiting illness. Rarely do we have residents who are up and walking so most find great comfort in their private room with a Murphy bed for family to stay over, television, music, internet all available to them at no cost. We believe in living until we die and providing exceptional care is our mission. Our holistic approach also provides individual psycho/social & emotional support
