Owner-chef Gonzalo Morales is the heart and soul of Los Jalapeños and the keeper of the secret recipes that have kept customers loyal since its opening in 1994. Morales who was born and raised in Tlaxcala, east of Mexico City, moved to the area in the late 80's and shared his talents with Bend staples such as Inn of the Seventh Mountain and Scalion's at the Athletic Club of Bend before establishing his own Taqueria in its current location, . Morales and the friendly staff, that knows the customers by name, are proud to serve locals and visitors of Bend a wide variety of authentic tasty options for every meal of the day.
