“My 11 year old cat took a turn for the worse unexpectedly last week and it was the holiday weekend--we couldn't get ahold of anybody! If it weren't for Morgan Vet our girl might not have made it as she was no longer eating or drinking water and her abdomen was filling up with fluid. Our attempts to squirt water in her mouth could only do so much and by the time we got her in she was severely dehydrated. Shout out to Dr. Erin and nurse Gwen for their kindness, compassion, and attentiveness even in the midst of their incredibly hectic days. We really felt that they both cared what happened to our baby and I received a phone call twice a day most days she was hospitalized (4 days). We as of now have our sweet lady home, comfortable, and hopefully mending. We do not know what the underlying cause of her illness is yet (outside labs take time) but even so--I felt the need to leave this review. Keeping her with us is priceless but it is also worthwhile to mention I was asked for my clearance on every single charge added to our bill as we were approved for a specific amount of Care Credit to help foot the bill. We wanted to spare no expense but we didn't want to be flush for cash if we really needed it later so we really appreciated that! 5 stars all around. You've earned yourselves customers/patients for life. :)Seriously. Thank you.EDIT: We said goodbye to our little lady on Friday. She was beyond recovery and in pain. Dr. Erin and Gwen were with us every step of the way. Their kindness and compassion again cannot be understated. They gave me something to give her at home to reduce anxiety when bringing her in and allowed us as much time as we needed. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have had an entire week with my girl that I would not have had if Morgan Veterinary were not there to bring her back from the brink. We got a proper goodbye, so many snuggles, and I could let go knowing I did all I could for her.EDITING TO ADD: I have not received my girl's cremated remains, it is now 02/09. I contacted Nelson's and have been told she was signed for on January 12 and was shown photographic proof. I have called Morgan Vet weekly for updates (January 8, 12, 24 and February 1) and I was told I'd be called the second she arrived...Kathy even stepped to the back to look for me. Well, nobody seems to know where she is. What the heck is happening here? We adopted a kitten here on the 12th, the day she had arrived and was signed for. We came back to get our kitten's staples out on the 15th, in person, and I asked at the front desk about my baby's ashes and was told again, I'd get a call when she arrived but she wasn't here yet. I have gotten into contact after hours with someone on their FB chat that states someone called on the 12th but no such missed call is on my phone, so I believe they are mistaking my incoming phone call as an outgoing one. Even if there was a missed call, I have called and even asked in person and have been assured she is not there. :( I wish I took her home to bury her. I fear I will never have her remains. I understand mistakes happen but I want to know exactly what happened.EDITED AGAIN: The person I spoke to on after hours had someone look at the clinic for me late Friday night and she was located. Morgan's has apologized profusely and allowed me to pick her up at 8 this morning, Saturday. Nelson's reached out to me as well to let me know the person receiving that day is new and likely did not know the proper handling procedures for this. That makes sense. We have her home safe and sound now. While I wish this wouldn't have happened, obviously, I can tell the staff were also upset by this and worked very quickly to rectify the situation. I had someone on the line at midnight. Above and beyond service to fix this unfortunate mistake. Thank you guys again.”
