Two of us had a very good meal at this restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive but it took awhile to receive our ahi tuna poke appetizer and our entries were served before we finished our appetizer. My husband had the meatloaf and I had the halibut special. All of the food was very good particularly the ahi tuna poke. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were driving North on I-5: and stopped at a rest stop where a gentleman was working at the coffee booth. We asked for a suggestion for lunch. He told us to take exit 194B where there were lots of restaurants. We were very lucky. Cafe 440 is visible, even though it is at the back of a small shopping center. We both had the Salmon fish and chips, but I asked for the sweet potato fries. Service was over the top, the meal was outstanding, and the menu is well priced with delicious choices. The owner seated us, and makes sure everything is perfect. We got there before noon, and there was plenty of seating, but obviously this is a favorite of the locals because they came in continuously. Dinner is also available starting at 5 pm.

Just come here. My absolutely favorite spot in Eugene. Love the Tuesday night Heart and Soul live music with Shelley and Cal Coleman. Food is always great and a bartending staff that doesn't miss a beat.

We enjoyed two very fresh and delicious dinner sized salads plus a yummy local beer and a glass of Oregon Chardonnay. We loved the “keep it local” feel, our server was attentive and kind, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. It was a Wednesday night and the place was packed...it’s obviously a hot spot! The decor is casual and with cement floors and high ceilings, there is little buffer to cut down on noise, which is fine if you’re in for a casual dinner or to enjoy the vibe of a crowd feel, but we personally wouldn’t choose here for a romantic dinner.

I loved the Chipotle Turkey sandwich and would go there once a month for that sandwich. Then they took it off the menu. A little pricey but solid food.
