“This place is dangerous! I found things I didn't know I needed..... For that matter, I found things that I had no idea even existed.... Everybody is very knowledgeable and helped me out every time I go in.... they helped my first attempt at decorating cookies with royal icing.....”

“Huge selection of designer residential products. Clear and straight forward prices. The sales person had printed quotes on everything we looked at before we left. No pressure, and very pleasant to work with. I will be placing an order for my kitchen.”

“I was completely impressed with everything about this business. The showroom is beautiful and houses tons of choices for faucets and fixtures, a few sinks for both bath and kitchen. The reason I'm writing this review is because of Linda, one of the most competent, patient, efficient, knowledgeable employees I've run into in a very long time. Just when I despair that customer service is no longer in the American vocabulary, Linda proved me wrong. My husband and I returned multiple times to the showroom, helped by Linda every time. I was constantly amazed by her breadth of knowledge and command of the information contained in the thick catalogues, turning directly to the relevant page for specs. We also had a great deal of fun together. You might ask what's fun about a faucet, but somehow we managed to enjoy ourselves while in Linda's presence.I would recommend this business and particularly their employee Linda without reservation.”

“I went in to find replacement hinges for restored 1960s cabinets. I wanted self-closing hinges to match the contemporary matte-gold handles I'd bought from a big box store. The woman who helped me explained to me that there are very limited color options for replacement hinges on vintage cabinets, and that the handles I had chosen wouldn't have a match. She explained to me in detail how I could go about spray painting all of the hardware to get it to match. She also a explained that the problem I was having getting the holes from the original hardware to work for self-closing hinges I had bought was a problem that could not be overcome with different self-closing hinges, and explained that I'd be redrilling holes for the new hinges and patching the old holes, if I wanted self-closing hinges. She was straightforward in letting me know my options and that the plan I walked in with wouldn't work. As someone who renovates houses fairly often, I want to point out, in response to some other reviews I've read, that communication in the construction industry is very direct. Either something works or it does not. Either a product is available or it is not. I usually replace existing cabinetry and have been learning as I go trying to keep this original cabinetry. This woman's feedback was a huge help to me. Most contractors don't spend a lot of time trying to put these things delicately to people, and that is who the workers at this hardware store primarily deal with. So I would not discourage anyone from going to Maverick. I would just encourage the average homeowner to keep in mind that you might get a direct answer that what you have in mind for your project won't work, and to know that such an answer is not personal or a sign of poor character on the part of the person serving you. For selection and expertise regarding cabinet hardware, I think Maverick is a great option.”
