“I just love staying at this unique, clean, quiet hotel! I visited for the first time 27-30 June and loved it so much I returned again last week, 18-21 July! Both times to play golf at Buffalo Peak and La Grande Country Club. Thus, I felt it only fitting to reside in the 19th Hole themed room.This place isn't your run-of-the-mill hotel. It not only has unique character because of its history and it's claw-foot tubs, beautiful carpets, tile and wood floors, and woodwork, but you're treated like family by its very kind owner Charlie and his sweet dog Rosie III. So much so, that I find it hard to leave! And the place is so peaceful being that it's located in a very safe small town with very little traffic...I thus sleep really well on their comfy beds. Hopefully, when the economy and labor market improves, Charlie can one day reopen the restaurant, but for now some good restaurants and stores are within easy walking distance.Definitely one of my favorite places to stay in all my frequent travels playing golf! Inexpensive too!”
