They handled all the paperwork with both the insurance and rental car company, which was such a relief. Their waiting area was clean and accommodating with refreshments and comfy seating. “Traveling on the Pennsylvania Turnpike ( Beaver Falls PA ) with a boat trailer, blew a wheel bearing and was stuck not knowing what to do. Found Meiters Trailer service online a small business that's been around 40 plus years. They recommended a tow company for a tandem axle boat trailer, and the tow company was outstanding from their referral and was able to get it over to Meiters. Sheila the receptionist was absolutely outstanding along with the owner named Ed. They provided outstanding service and workmanship and got me on the road the next morning. I cannot thank them enough for all their help. They were absolutely outstanding. Not many people go out of their way but it just shows a small business does just that. Their pricing was more than fair, and I want to thank Jon that did all the work and suggested all four wheels be serviced, which needed to be done, they were almost ready to Go bad as well! Highly recommend this business for all your trailer and auto needs. Great showroom and they install snow plows Etc don't hesitate to give these folks a call nicest people in the world.”

“I went to two other places before I went here and found this hidden gem, their price was more than fair the parts the labor everything was better than any of the other shops had !! The work was done by a mechanic/ body work specialist named Matt. He was the friendliest and one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I've talked to and or met ..he was highly professional and the work was done fast and also done right !! “Thank you so very much to Brian for checking my Hyundai Tucson when I had it towed in today.The car was stuck doing only 20 mph.I tried speeding up, using breaks, checked the gears thinking maybe it was stuck in 1st or 2nd gear.When I phoned AAA, I was told it was a safety feature in cars that they only go 20 mph when there is an engine issue.I smelled burned rubber. AAA customer service suspected it was the belt.AAA & tow driver were caring, polite, professional, & made sure I was safe, which I appreciate.When we arrived at Bowser, I got a bit lost going to where service was before remodel.Woman at desk told me mechanics would not be back until 1 p.m. & that there were several people ahead of me.New waiting lounge is nice.Great coffee bar.Turned out I accidentally turned on cruise control without realizing it. Guessing the burning I was smelling were the brakes trying to keep the car at 20 mph.Very grateful to Brian for checking car so quickly & figuring out what happened...& teaching me how to turn off cruise control.Thank you so very much.Very grateful”

“Hello Fellow Road Warriors! My name is Brian Katana...my friends call me Mr. Pepsi! I wanted to share with all of you my review on Blackies Automotive...and simply put one word, AWESOME!Ive been goin to Blackies Automotive for the past 13 years...and these fellas do an exceptional job. Of all my pickup trucks ive owned, ive always taken my trucks to these fellas ESPECIALLY a very cool & knowledgable mechanic, Tim. Lol no im not a terrible driver, all of my trucks WHICH i call Pepsi-1, likes to go Deer Hunting on occassion...so when that happens, i take it down to Blackies.Recently...u guessed it...weeks back i was coming home in the Pepsi-1B (3rd generation of the pickup truck name)...and a Doe ran right into me, smashed the entire front of Pepsi-1. Luckly it was all cosmetic damage, nothing major. So i contacted Tim, now the new owner of Blackies & after talking with my insurance company & Tim, we got Pepsi-1 into the shop.After round 4 weeks, i got her back...again no fault of insurance or Blackies, with shortage of supplies & the world suffering terrible inflation, it was slow getting replacement parts...but Tim & his crew NEVER lets me down.What i like bout Blackies crew, especially Tim...he works on ur vehicles as if they were his very own. Again ive got to know Tim for the past 13 years, and i WOULDNT think of taking my trucks to anyone else. Tim is honest, upfront & willing to be cool to help anyone out the best he can without sacrificing quality...plus on a personal note, he got a good heart, i really do respect the guy.In conclusion i got my Pepsi-1B back today & she looks good, again no doubt...so to all u drivers, give Blackies a chance, especially Tim...hell lets be honest folks, they do offer free estimates so what do u have to lose?Thanks everyone & if you do decide to call Blackies, tell em Mr. Pepsi sent ya! :)Services: Body & Trim”

“I go wherever the parts I need are. Advanced has helped in the past and other times I wasn't impressed. Honestly advanced, auto zone, O'Reillys, pretty much the same to me. It's the quality of people that work there that can make or break someone's opinion. Advanced wasn't very helpful the last time I was there. Younger kids that didn't care to help, made that experience worthless. But the time before that I had a great experience. So it's not the parts that really stand out, it's who is representing advanced auto parts when you walk in that counts.”

They stepped up and I haven't had a single problem with my work van's service in over two years.Kevin is always ready to work with me to arrange service or repairs, and since I work out of state so often, this usually means I leave my van with them over the week or weekend and get a rental from my fleet service. They make it so smooth that I've come to expect that level of service now, and they never disappoint.The biggest problems I've ever had is when the Enterprise down the road is out of vehicles because of the shortages.”
