They have big waterproof boxes perfect for dropping off any number of books anytime day or night without any help. The books can be loose or in boxes. There are no gates or locks and nothing to stop you from donating your books. Go for it. Easy.

I love going on bag day (Tuesday) where you can get an entire bag of books for $8. There is always a great selection of books, cookbooks, textbooks, movies, and more. The workers are always very kind and helpful. Definitely worth taking a trip!

From AAUW State College Used Book Sale Donations
The State College branch of AAUW was founded in 1916 and has approximately 150 members who continually seek ways to work toward improving the lives of all women. Our State College branch has a long history of leadership and community service.
Our Used Book Sale funds scholarships for women, community action grants, and STEM programs for girls.
AAUW’s nationwide women’s advocacy network opens doors for women and girls and influences public debate on critical social issues such as education, civil rights, and workplace equity.
AAUW publishes groundbreaking research on women and girls, is one of the world’s largest resources of funding exclusively for graduate women, and fights discrimination in all levels of education.
