The building is pretty but I don't know why it felt a little eerie, could be the old pictures. We were nosy and asked about what happened here. Someone said this place is haunted. Coming back to visit Jim Thorpe next week, will visit this place again.

A nice building that has some shopping stores and a coffee shop! Apparently this building is haunted as well! They showcase some unique history of the town and have some photographs and literature about varying things in Jim Thorpe.

The atmosphere was perfect. The food was as if I was in NY top end restaurant. Service was outstanding.

The Douglas House Marketplace is Jim Thorpe's only retail mall consisting of two levels of fine shops with entrances on both Broadway and Race Streets. You'll find a variety of unique items including gifts, antiques & collectibles, home décor, art, plants, souvenirs, candles, vintage clothing, jewelry, bath and body care, whimsy items, knick knacks, and who knows what? Each shop's inventory is constantly changing!
