“I travel from Chester County to go and get incredibly delicious authentic food. The staff has always treated me like family. I lived up the street on Hearts Lane and moved 6 years ago and I can't find a place like this Market. The Liciousos rolls are definitely delicious & South Philly style. They have the best bakery in town. They definitely make you feel the love.”

“Love Trader Joe's, no complaints.Personally, I love going here for seasonal products. There are always lots of quality choices at reasonable prices. As is the Trader Joe's M.O., everyone there is always very friendly and helpful. I've never been to a Trader Joe's that has anything less than the best customer service.”

“Stopped into O'Neill's to pick up a few items. I was able to pretty much be in and out without issue...was waited on quickly at the deli counter. The cashier was pleasant enough.”

“Produce is abundant. Usually fresh, but it needs to be carefully inspected. Prices are usually lower than the chain grocery stores. I also buy seasonal plants. Careful with the eggs. I bought some that were not so fresh.”

“Nice grove of gluten free snack items located in the back of the store which is a blessing for my girlfriend and I as she was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease. You can find some quality unique items if you peruse the store which is very large in scope. Found me some garlic spiced steak today for a fair price and overpaid on some shrimp in a basting oil but meh would rather eat overpriced bourgeoisie food than the fast food that makes you overweight and much closer to death. Its a nice break from your typical Acme or Giant and I recommend stopping in if you have not been here before. As always people SYOY!!!”

“We were so happy with the food and service we received this afternoon from George's! They catered my daughter's wedding shower. I ordered sandwiches trays, salads, appetizers and a cake for 20 people. Everything was delivered on time, fresh and delicious. The cake was beautifully decorated and tasted as good as it looked! It was more than enough for everyone. We had a lot leftover. Highly recommended!”

“Mom’s Organic is a great resource to have in the neighborhood, a big health food store. I shop their regularly and try to find things on sale because it’s a bit pricey, especially produce (which is very high quality and organic). One time, I wanted something that they didn’t offer, so was told to write the owner and I did. Sure enough, they began carrying it! It’s a staple at our home (Ripple milk). The staff are very helpful.,The wellness section manager helped me diagnose a skin condition and is very knowledgeable.,Great selection of health food stores.”

“Very nice place for healthy and old style groceries, but it looks like they are collaborating less with local farms, as that selection got limited in the past year.”

“One of the women who works here remembers my name. You get a number and wait for someone to call your number. I recommend getting the chicken salad and homemade potato salad here. When my grandfather was alive, I bought hoagies here. He always liked Italian hoagies (with no oregano). I would call and pre-order the hoagie and then pick it up. Excellent customer service and great prices!”

“So. Many. Options. So many great food places. Savory, sweet, things to take home and cook, booze, all of it. Seating is hard to find inside but there's a good area outside with counter height tables to stand and grub!”

“The best hoagies joint in the area. My husband and I often get hoagies from T&F as it is much closer and their hoagies are very good. But when it comes to quality of meats, Haggerty is the best. I had Hagerty's BLT also and it was great. The owner is a very nice young man and it feels good to patronize a local mom and pop shop”

“Thank you Joey B for my personal tour of your trader Joe's gluten-free items. Your enthusiasm and knowledge of the store made it quick easy and painless to shop for my gluten allergy. I cried yesterday when I popped my first vanilla cupcake in my mouth. It is really hard to find vanilla cake that is gluten-free. Thank you so much for that. ally was making a delicious appetizer that I was very excited to try. Pita crackerwas not gluten free and did state it on the board with all the ingredientsshe did mention that there could be cross-contamination which I absolutely appreciate her saying she changed her gloves and gave me a corner of the cheese that hasn't been touched yetthank you ally for making a gluten-free girl day I did purchase the cheese the caramel and the roasted pecanEliza was absolutely amazing at checkoutwhen I noticed that my friend had an item that I wanted she then rang a bell and said her special words and someone went and grabbed two of that item for us that we needed that we wanted to purchase more of it was absolutely great servicewe even had a quick conversation about how her dad is gluten free as well and does lots of his shopping thereI did not know you guys were Bagless so next time I will be bringing my own bagsthere were employees everywhere stocking shelves laughing having a good time so there was always someone there to help you find something and it was cleanI'm already ready to go back for another tripI drove an hour to get there”

“I have to say first and foremost, even better than the food, is the friendly service. The woman at the front was so kind and patient with us while we ordered, so much good food it was hard to choose. I eventually chose the pork katsu and my goodness was it flavorful. The cutlet was the perfect form of crispy and juicy and the curry put it all together. Definitely a warm and comforting meal worth the trip to Ardmore to enjoy. The little convenience store on the other side is also a plus. Was able to pick up some staples like togarashi and hon tsuyu for the home. Love this place. Thanks to everyone who works here! You all are awesome!”

“I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Carlino's Bakery. They have everything you need for any event or family function. I've had something from every department and never had any complaints. The cakes and pastries are delicious, the cheeses, their pre-made meals (i.e: lasagna, salads, etc...) , their hot paninis & fresh loaf of bread are all great. I go there for all my imported goods shopping. Make sure you pick up a Panetone there for Christmas!”

“One of the greatest shops around. We always stop there first before hitting somewhere like acme. They don't have everything you need but they have lots and tons you didn't know you needed.”

“Lidl has some specific items I always seek out: the veggie lasagna, jarred pestos, and turkey meatballs, to name a few. I miss the self check-outs, because the lines can get really long.”

“I ate a meatball hoagie from here in like 2011 that I still think about. I have never before or since found one that slapped that hard - could not believe those out-of-the-warming-pot meatballs and fresh sliced prov could make that magic but it did. Also tried my friend’s sandwich which was the Italian (as advertised, a true classic - hard to find them like that anywhere but the old delis now) but I was so lost in the sauce of the meatballs that it didn’t matter. Also, the guy behind the counter? So helpful, so kind, so clearly proud of the place and the product.”

“Honest small business. I left $700 there by accendent. They called me 2 week later to return. Great African store. Musa Jr is the best. All the staff are awesome.”

“Have been shopping at Trader Joe's on Arch Street for several months. Store is clean, well lit and we'll stocked. Dairy products are very reasonable. Great selection of some unusual items not found in chain supermarkets. Most items are priced well in comparison. TJ's ground and whole bean coffee selection is good and priced well. Cashiers are very friendly and helpful. I always enjoy my shopping trips to Trader Joe's.”

“I love this place. I love their meat. Great team of guys they have there. Mohammad also runs the pharmacy so he's not there any more buts he's a great guys who will work with you. Sam is great too. Well I think that's his name. But the ladies kind of such at the front but they aren't there all like that. I usually pick this store over the Spanish store next door. Great especially for wic customers. Iykyk. Anyway great store and people. Oh plus you can get the essential oils at the front with Stamps and if you know that's great because they have black castor oil and sometimes even regular castor oil. Just ask them if not currently in stock they'll get it. They also sell jewelry in the same shop but you must ask.”

“I frequent another HMart and often forget about this site. It is now my new "go to" for the extensive selection of fresh produce and other items. My grandson loves testing prepared ramen and has voted the options in the food court among the best.”

“Just ate my first sandwich (roast beef) from this wonderful little market. Great selection, very nice people and the best roast beef sandwich ever.!!! This will be my “go to” place.”

“Since moving up the street, Liberty Kitchen seems busier than ever and the crew is still just as great as always. I’ve always been a big fan of the turkey hoagie but since breakfast has been available, and served all day. I find myself waking up ready for a porkroll egg and cheese all the time. I love what you do and I’ll see you soon.”

“Manayunk’s best kept secret deli. I eat in, nothing fancy about dining area (thus the 2 stars). I have only purchased subs & steak sandwiches, both served on the best darn rolls found in Philadelphia I believe. They bring to your table. Both have plenty of meat and or cheese with just the right amount of filler as you ordered. Tucked under the SEPTA overhead tracks, known only by the locals. I found it by pure accident riding the SRT one day and not wanting to be hassled with a long wait to find, be seated, € be served at one of the many restaurants located on the main street. After all, I am only passing through on my bike.”
